The Tea Party Express/CNN Debate from the Third Row

First of all, I would like to thank the Tea Party Express and (I can’t believe I’m typing these words) CNN for hosting the first ever Tea Party Presidential Debate in history. I would have loved watching it on television, but being there in the third row center stage allowed me the opportunity to see things from an entirely different perspective. From my vantage point, I could see the facial expressions and body language of all the candidates regardless of what was shown on CNN. Therefore, I’d like to share my thoughts on the debate and welcome your feedback in comparison.

Wolf Blitzer: I have to start with CNN’s moderator, Wolf Blitzer. I must say, Wolf Blitzer did a great job of doing his job. It was apparent that his goal was to provoke and get sound bites that could be used against the candidates and the Tea Party. He was successful at both. Because of the questions asked, several of the candidates were afforded the opportunity to take their shots at Governor Perry which have been in the news all week. The “should society just let him die” question provoked a response from a couple of people in the audience that has taken center stage in the liberal media and being spun as the “Tea Party Cheers the Death of the Uninsured.”

Michele Bachmann: While many of the pundits are saying that Bachmann is losing steam in her campaign and she did little to improve that during the debate, I completely disagree. This was, in my opinion, Bachmann’s best debate performance to date. Her conviction, tone, and mannerisms when answering questions left little doubt that she meant what she said. When Bachmann went after Perry over the HPV vaccination and crony capitalism, this showed the audience and America that she can get in there and mix it up when necessary.

John Huntsman: All I could do while John Huntsman was speaking was to be reminded of the Peanuts cartoon. Does everyone remember the teacher from Peanuts? All I could hear was “Wha, wha, wha wha wha.” Sorry John, that’s the best I can do for you. His answers left me wondering what the “R” after his name actually stands for.

Ron Paul: Congressman Paul was one of the few who did not sound scripted. His answers were quick and unafraid. However, Paul’s discussion of Iran, 9/11, and terrorism, was one of the points where being in the audience was an advantage. There were seven candidates on the stage who in unison cocked their heads at an angle and looked at each other with facial expressions of utter amazement. Paul’s stance on these issues also drew a chorus of boos from the audience. On the other hand, Paul’s answers regarding domestic policy drew cheers from the audience. Gauging from the response of the audience it’s domestic issues yes, constitutional issues yes, but foreign policy no.

Tea Party Cheers Death of the Uninsured at the CNN Tea Party Debate?

The Tea Party cheers for the death of the uninsured at the CNN/Tea Party Express Presidential Debate? That’s not the way I saw it, so I’ve got to throw the BS flag on this one. Watch the video for yourself and we’ll go from there.

I was there. My seat was in the third row center stage. There was NO applause after someone shouted out “Yes!”, as most of the media is reporting. What I heard were two shouts and could not tell if it was from the same person or if it was two different people. The rest of the crowd was looking around to see if they could identify who this jerk was. However, the left-wing sharks were cunningly circling waiting for someone to chum the waters, and unfortunately someone did.

First of all, we do not have the identity of the person who shouted out. This was a mixed audience and could have been anyone. Left-wing plant, CNN cameraman, or misguided Tea Party member, it really does not matter. What does matter is how insignificant was the event and how much hay is being made from it by an eternally left wing media.

Could it have been one of the “Traveling Paulinians”? I’m not talking about your typical Ron Paul supporter. I’m talking about the ones who travel where ever Ron Paul goes sporting the Ron Paul shirts, buttons, and signs – even though the audience at the CNN debate was asked not to wear buttons or carry signs. I’m talking about the ones who like to disrupt events, stuff the straw polls, and have forgotten how to take a bath. If I had to bet on any of the above choices, this is where I would put my money. They are deadheads for Paul in every sense of the word.

Nonetheless, for anyone including me, to jump to conclusions until the identity of the person or persons who shouted is established, is purely speculation at this point. However, facts are seldom a determining factor to the lame-stream media types, and the Debbie Wasserman-Schultz types in reporting or commenting on a story. On the other hand, I completely understand the strategy – personalize it (the Tea Party), demonize it (the Tea Party), and try to destroy it (the Tea Party). It is all in Saul Alinsky’s play book “rules for radicals”. The lack of answers, plans, or success, has left the liberals with no other choice except to rely on smear tactics. Let me remind you lefties out there, it is easy to hold an entire group of people to a standard or principle when you have no standards or principles yourselves. I wonder how you would measure up using the same scale you use to measure others…

I normally wouldn’t post a song, but this one is that good. I also contacted the copyright holders and they gave us permission to use the song at our events – and yours too. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Democrats Inciting Violence at Jeb Hensarling Town Hall in Texas

The 2012 elections have started with a bang as SEIU thugs and Democrat pit bulls and brown shirts commandeer a canceled Jeb Hensarling event in the sleepy town of Quitman, Texas.  Why commandeer a canceled event?  If you know that republican staff will be present, but police will be absent, what better time to train your troops in Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals.” The number one best seller for communist radicals has found new life in the new, hope filled and slightly changed Democratic Party.

It appears the media may have complicit in the staged protests.  Channel 19 in Tyler has not returned my calls or responded to my e-mail to their general manager.  A constituent was physically assaulted at the canceled event and threatened with lawsuits.  The tactics from Alinsky’s book were applied indiscriminately moving from one target to the next in a deliberate attempt to provoke an incident.  During this time, seemingly at the direction of the activists, the news cameras rolled.

Grassroots Activist Facing Possible Charges Over Agenda 21 Smart Meters

I don’t know what you know about Agenda 21, but this should certainly be a red flag. A “representative” from the power company knocks on the door of a grassroots activist in Houston and tells her that he is going to install a new meter on her house and requests access to her property which she promptly declines. The man then has the gall to hop the fence – did I mention that this happened in
Texas? She confronts the man at her meter and he proceeded to try to push her out of the way which is not a good idea in Texas. Thelma decides to arm herself and the meter man makes a hasty retreat. Now Thelma is facing possible charges?

I haven’t heard a whiff of this in the “mainstream” media, but here’s a clip from an article on TeaParty911.com:

TX HB 2129 passed in 2005 created a law for use by the Public Utilities Commission of Texas (PUCT) to grant energy producers permission to require the installation of smart meters replacing older meters including the off premises meter reading devices. One such consumer, Thelma Taormina of Houston, is concerned about such a product and installation.  ‘Door hangers notified consumers smart meters would be installed, if consumers were not home they would find another door hanger with instructions to call and set a time when they would be home so their meter could be installed. In Ms Taormina’s case, she received a door hanger congratulating her regarding the completed installation of her meter prior to the meter’s installation. An installer came to her property and requested access to install the meter; she refused since he did not present any identification other than wearing a shirt with the installation company’s logo.  He then jumped her fence, made physical contact with her and only after she armed herself did he leave her premises. There are possible charges pending related to this incident.
