“The angel in the pool:” 4-year-old boy who risked his life to save a drowning girl will be taken off life support

Xander Vento, only 4 years old, risked his life to save a three year old girl from drowning by holding her above the water, while he was under the water himself. He has been in a coma since Monday, and now his parents have had to make the decision no parent should ever have to make. They have decided to remove him from life support, and let him go be with the Lord. He will continue to be a hero to others! His parents will be donating as many organs as they can.

I have a son (13 now) who almost drowned at age 4. This story hits close to home.
I almost drowned myself in 2009 to save my now 15 year old son.
