Liberal consulting company FieldWorks flagged as potentially fraudulent roughly 200 voter registrations it submitted in Hamilton County, Ohio this fall, FOX News reported on November 3. ProgressOhio Executive Director Brian Rothenberg was quoted in an October 29 AlterNet story accusing True The Vote (TTV) of conducting illegal poll worker training, continuing a liberal assault on the election integrity group. The Utility Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) rules imposed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are taking a toll on Ohio’s coal industry and are expected to increase citizens’ electricity costs. Utility MACT, a series of bureaucratic regulations created under the Clean Air Act with the support of President Obama and U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH), has already caused coal-fired plant closures and layoffs.

Ohio’s unemployment rate paints a misleading picture of the state’s economy, an Opportunity Ohio report and separate Media Trackers analysis reveal. The unemployment rate reported by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) dropped from 10.6 percent in July 2009 to 7.2 percent in August 2012, but the change resulted from a shrinking labor force as opposed to strong job growth.

Project Veritas filmed Patrick Moran, son of Congressman Jim Moran (D-VA), helping devise a plan to commit voter fraud using a list of inactive voters’ names and addresses. Moran was a full-time employee of his father’s campaign at the time, and portions of the conversation were filmed at campaign headquarters.

The National Education Association (NEA) and an army of other left-wing groups are working desperately to spin billboards meant to deter voter fraud into a get-out-the-vote drive in Ohio and Wisconsin. NEA and its state affiliates have joined a “voter suppression” rallying cry over billboards which simply read “VOTER FRAUD IS A FELONY!” and listed the maximum penalty for committing voter fraud.

The Ohio Education Association (OEA) has promoted Barack Obama’s campaign with cover features in every issue of its “Ohio Schools” magazine since the start of the school year, and did the same in 2008. OEA claims to represent the interests of all Ohio teachers, but many educators who disagree with OEA’s politics are required by state law to pay hundreds of dollars in dues even if they opt out of the union.
