although I got carded in bars until I hit 40, I’ll leave it at that. I myself am not criticizing the Republican anointed one, Mitt Romney, although conservatives will have to work incredibly hard even with him in the White House. I just don’t feel that agreeing with Ron Paul on many domestic issues while rejecting his foreign policy alone, as a fellow Republican, is grounds for some of the crap I’ve gotten.

Neil just swooped in and for some odd reason has given you more chances than he has even given past long time members, but you are the victim.

Damnation, you are one dumb ……….well going to leave it at that and just sit back and watch you implode. The nice thing about young stupid people is they never learn until it is too late to learn, you will be no different. Maybe though, before your account goes dark, you will fess up and be honest about your under 25 age and your permanent residence in the basement of your parent’s home. It would explain your “style” of posting.

You are going to have to wait till after the elections this year to make any sort of of argument like this.

The reason is that Ron Paul and his followers made all the straight conservative types very angry and hyper. They will calm down a whole lot after the election and the old man is retired and just a memory.

Some of us have had these discussions before and you will find that they really go nowhere. The very same tired old arguments are constantly trotted out, and it is evident that most of those who are reflexively against any change in the status quo have not read any of the extensive literature or academic literature. At most maybe they read a pro drug war book by Bill Bennett or something like that and think all the arguments are settled.

At any rate now is not a good time for new arguments anyway because we have an important job right now, and that is to elect Romney and a republican senate because if we fail in that we won’t have a nation left for very long. And despite our differences we will need to come together for this.

Just read the article. Neither of us agree with everything the guy says, but it’s an interesting idea to say the least.
