Watching the Washington crew this week has been a bit disconcerting. I am a single Father. Barely making ends meet. Every proposal for Health Care, every proposal for Cap and Tax, every proposal for government spending of money we don’t have has direct implication on my small family. Common Sense has been the trait my family has had as I remember it, from the days of watching “Live from the Moon” and Walter Cronkite. So I sit here this Saturday wondering where in the world has MY Country gone? I watch the Web on a constant basis. I read all opinions with interest. I like most watch Drudge, Fox, Kos, Huff, and many others. Today I read a post by nyceve of Kos:

“As we move at breakneck speed into the final days and hours of the healthcare showdown, it’s a ghastly feeling to be betrayed by some of our own, but that’s exactly what’s happening. We need to shame these people into doing the right thing.”

“SHAME”, “BETRAYED”, “GHASTLY”, …..RIGHT THING????????????

Common Sense begs the question, when did this approach become DEBATE???????????????????
Its a disgusting turn for this country brought by people with money and power. I think that is why certain people that come across as “Normal Folks” scare the hell out of the Washington crew and the Chicago/Obama “thugs”.

Rep. Zack Space (Ohio), Rep. John Barrow (Georgia), Rep. G.K. Butterfield (North Carolina), Rep. Jay Inslee (Washington), Rep. Mike Ross (Arkansas), Rep. Bart Gordon (Tennessee), Rep. Baron Hill (Indiana), Rep. Charlie Melancon (Louisiana), Rep. Mike Doyle (Pennsylvania), Rep. Jim Matheson (Utah), Rep. Bart Stupak (Michigan), Rep. Jerry McNerney (California).

The three Republican districts belong to Rep. Fred Upton (Michigan), Rep. Mary Bono Mack (California), and Rep. Greg Walden (Oregon)
These Representatives should be supported regardless of their party. They are being “Targeted” by the KOS people simply for their opinion. There are too many parallels to begin to talk of. I personally think Gov. Palin has a great idea. Put the fact that you are an American FIRST. Not second to the likes of KOS and Huffpost, and others. I hope you will all do as I have done. Contact the above and express your support for their position on the disaster called health care reform. It is nothing more than a disgusting grab for power. America is becoming an embarrassing place to live with the “Messiah” at the helm. God grant us at least 3 more years to right this wrong.
