Wait everyone! Maureen Dowd is a Constitutional expert!

This red-headed statist thinks we should just have a bunch of appellate courts and the Supreme Court should not have any say whatsoever. She thinks because they disagree with her, the “hacks in black robes” should be disbanded. Except, of course, for the ones that agree with her view of the Constitution as a living, breathing document. Just like Kagan.

    I had the misfortune of reading her drivel last night. Her arguments are so over the top that they sickened me. She is re-litigating decisions from 12 years ago and overstating the influence of Citizens United (have the “fat cats” really gotten any legislative boondoggles?). Scalia asks questions and is portrayed as an out of touch buffoon arguing the absurd. Thomas says nothing and he is likewise maligned. Unless one speaks the Constitution according to Maureen Dowd, or any liberal, then they are dismissed. If for no other reason, I would like to see the Supreme Court come out with a decision signed with a big middle finger directed at people like Maureen Dowd.
