What’s this world coming to when you can’t even get people you hate to admit it’s their fault you hate them?
Like that rat-b@$t@rd Cheney, who the Philadelphia Inquirer excoriates in a editorial today for refusing to admit he’s a criminal!
/snark
Seriously, if the Left’s BDS is going to remain in full force until Bush and Cheney admit that every megalomaniacal fantasy that has been spun about them over the last eight years is true, it’ll be fun to watch heads continue exploding all over America for the foreseeable future.
While one of the infuriating things to the GOP about the Bush presidency was his steadfast refusal to defend himself against anybody except conservatives — and while Cheney was the embodiment of a team player on that issue, refusing to correct the record because his boss was inexplicably opposed to doing so — I simply don’t see either Bush or Cheney coming out in the next few years (or decades, God willing), presenting their hands for the cuffs, and breaking into a heartfelt public confession that the deepest fantasies of America’s Leftists (from racism, to genocide, to emulation of Hitler, to conspiring for a New World Order, to planning 9/11, to lying us into Iraq to steal oil, to et cetera, et cetera, et cetera) were true all along before submitting to the frog-march to the Hague.
In other words, folks like those making up the editorial board of the Philadelphia Inquirer will likely be stuck in brain-boiling mode ad infinitum — and I have to say, I don’t mind that one little bit.
In other other words, as Erick said earlier today, Bush’s course of action should be “Screw Obama, Pardon Everybody.” Now that‘d make some brains boil, wouldn’t it? Heh.
