Democrats Attack ‘The Mob’ as the Community Organizer in Chief Unleashes His Hordes

It's Probably Safe to Assume Community Organizers for the Minority are No Longer "Like Jesus"

As President Obama called on his activists around the country to attend “thousands of events this month” in an effort to convince legislators that they, not the 55% of voters who oppose the Obama/Kennedy/Pelosi health care overhaul proposals, represent the majority of Americans (or, as a DailyKos diarist put it, “the collective will of the American people”), the Democratic National Committee was releasing an ad decrying the Obamacare-opposing “mob” as a bunch of Limbaugh-loving, Bible-carrying, extremist “birther” sheeple.

The ad is below:

Interestingly, the same crowd that is currently spending time and money to organize a campaign denigrating the “mob’s” dissent spent the last 8 years proclaiming such “mob” actions to be the quintessential example of Constitutionally-protected, God-given Freedom of Speech. This includes the current President, who spent that time and the decades before it acting as a professional rabble-rousing astroturfer (something that makes his sensitivity to such tactics understandable, but his apparent inability to recognize real dissent and outrage, rather than its manufactured counterpart, more than a bit puzzling).

As Jim Geraghty wrote this morning in a post titled “When More Than Half Dislike Your Ideas, It’s More Than ‘The Right-Wing Base’“:

I think the DNC — and Democrats, and the Obama administration — are on the verge of making a serious error by dismissing folks who show up at constituent meetings as “the mob.” …Skepticism of this health care plan goes way, way beyond “the right wing Republican base.” Alternatively, the right wing Republican base now amounts to a bit more than half of the voting public. …In the face of numbers like these, what do Democrats gain from a message like this[?]

Beyond being a whiplash-inducing reversal of position from the last 8 years (remember Hillary Clinton screeching “WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO DEBATE AND DISAGREE WITH ANY ADMINISTRATION!”?), the left’s change of position on both free speech and community organizing has negated what they portrayed as President Obama’s strongest qualification for the office (which isn’t saying much, given his overall lack of qualifications): his experience as a community organizer.

Even more striking is the fact that those the DNC and Obama now insultingly claim are organizing and provoking the angry “mob” are, to use Obama campaign rhetoric from just last year, doing the same work Jesus did when He was on the earth.

It’s often striking to consider the swiftness of the people’s reversal on Jesus Himself, from a king’s entrance on Palm Sunday to condemnation and crucifixion just days later. With the Democrats’ sudden 180° on the actions of those they compared to Jesus just months ago, we have a living, current example of just how such a change can happen.

This a pet peeve of mine…but the difference I will point out won’t take away anything from the point you wish to make…In fact…the events around Yahshuah’s crucifixion is a perfect example of the tactics Obama now uses!

First….for my pet peeve. I’m not writing this to condemn you or anyone…just to explain why it’s a peeve….then I’l cover where the events support your point and how it was a group not unlike the Obamites of today who were to blame!

It wasn’t the people who agitated for Pilot to crucify Yahshua, it was Caiaphas, the High Priest, and the Religious order of the day who instigated it.

I’m a born again Christian who has been given a heart for GOD’s chosen people it bugs me when I here that it was the people who agitated for the crucifixion because it’s been used as an excuse for antisemitism for too long. The early Church was made up primarily of the Jewish people and it was Jewish people who mourned at the foot of the cross as his life slowly bled from him

Anyway…Where the Scripture points to an Obamite like conspiracy to murder the Christ:

Mar 15:6 Now at the feast he was accustomed to releasing one prisoner to them, whomever they requested.

Mar 15:7 And there was one named Barabbas, [who was] chained with his fellow rebels; they had committed murder in the rebellion.

Mar 15:8 Then the multitude, crying aloud, began to ask [him to do] just as he had always done for them.

Mar 15:9 But Pilate answered them, saying, “Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?”

Mar 15:10 For he knew that the chief priests had handed Him over because of envy.

Mar 15:11 But the chief priests stirred up the crowd, so that he should rather release Barabbas to them.

Mar 15:12 Pilate answered and said to them again, “What then do you want me to do [with Him] whom you call the King of the Jews?”

Mar 15:13 So they cried out again, “Crucify Him!”

Mar 15:14 Then Pilate said to them, “Why, what evil has He done?” But they cried out all the more, “Crucify Him!”

Mar 15:15 So Pilate, wanting to gratify the crowd, released Barabbas to them; and he delivered Jesus, after he had scourged [Him], to be crucified.

The Chief priests stirred up the multitude! I don’t believe for a second that all the Jews of that day wanted him crucified…The loudest elements in that crowd did…and they were stirred on by the religious leadership of the day…Those that were vocal were undoubtedly one of two kinds…Either they were familiar with Jesus and did want him dead…or they were ignorant of Jesus and didn’t care one way or the other and were stirred up against him by those that did want him dead…

And that is what the left has done for 70 plus years in America…they’ve never been in the majority…but they agitate the ignorant and the make their numbers appear to be far greater than they are…Obama is the Caiaphas of his day….your analogy works far better if you consider him in that light with Acorn and the rest as the Sanhedrin and the Chief Priests

Have you ever read Chuck Colson’s summary of the plot against Jesus and the manipulation that was used to put Pilate in a difficult spot (after which his cowardice closed the circle). It’s been some time now, but I remember these two items:

“If you release this man [Jesus] you are no friend of Caesar” – this was code for saying that Pilate would be open to a charge of treason and a clever recognition of the local politics, including the prominence of the “Friends of Caesar”. I’m hazy on the details, but the point is that this phrase was specifically intended to create a political trap for Pilate.

“We have no king but Caesar” – this was the unthinkable phrase coming from Jews, a rejection of following God, but cynically used in this context against to put political pressure against Pilate.

So we see here the intentional repudiation of historical foundations of Jewish society by the plot leaders for the express purpose of discrediting (and in this case murdering by proxy) their opponent.

Remarkably similar to the strategy that the President and the DNC are employing now.

It took the republican 8 years to “lose the confidence of the American people.” It only took the democrats 6 months.

If Michelle Malkin or Ann Coulter or Karl Rove or whoever is slated to speak at a college, you’ll get these thug spokespeople saying ahead of time things like, “If you bring this vile hatemonger to campus, it’s sure to stir up a lot of anger against them and it would be a real shame (*wink wink*) if it caused someone to oh I don’t know torch the building during the speech.” That’s called “free speech” and results in the speaker being told never mind.

But if a middle of the road constituent (who 50-50 chance voted for Obama last year I bet) asks his or her representative in Washington a fair question, it’s time to bring in the jackbooted thugs to beat them down, investigate their tax history, ruin their lives, etc.

It’s nice how the Democrats are always looking out for the little guy.

Because that is OUR tactic! Probably what they were thinking when these protests were surfacing like a bad rash on your a$$. Good luck trying to convince all these ‘real’ Americans they are NOT angry at whats happening. I know for one I AM! But I’m not a real protester then either am I?
