There aren't versions...

Unless you are naive, you understand that the likelyhood of a candidate that you agree with 100% of the time is probably none.

In fact, if you get a candidate you agree with 75% of the time when the field is narrowed down to 2, you should consider yourself lucky. If you aren't happy with the candidates, then choose the one you like the most now and work through the primaries next time.

From someone that opposed CFR but gladly voted for McCain in the primaries... Is Obama offering to repeal CFR and I missed it? Because as far as the current election is concerned, it is a non-issue in determining who to pick between the two.

To Jeff Emanuel - I hope your version of reality serves you. I am not convinced, and I think your version is going to let you down worse than you imagine. Truth is all that matters, not the (barely) lesser of 2 evils. That is why we are where we are now, and I guess I've had enough of it. Thanks for the post.

Ok, no, we really haven't.

But hey, at least you've got a demi-god in his place.

Because having McCain in office is much better than Obama. Back in 2004 (my first opportunity to vote in a presidential election) I voted for Michael Badnarik.

It's going to be a hell of a lot tighter this time around. As much as I'd like to vote LP, I don't think I can afford it. I voted for Ron Paul in the primary, but that's all that could be really done this time around.

Your article is depressing. Why are you betraying yourself? I see no reason to follow you. You admit McCain's assaults on your convictions yet you are going to vote for him? Why? Isn't it time to say enough is enough? How much are we willing to concede before the parties look exactly alike?
