Loose Lips Sink Ships (Feinstein D-CA torpedoes Pakistan)… why Democrats cannot be entrusted with US Security

It would appear that the following Posters need to be put up all over Washington DC to remind Democrats that “Loose Lips Can Cost Lives” and while the old saying used to also have a “Loose Lips Sink Ships” variety – today it is “Loose Lips Will Ground Predators.” And to think these fools think it will be fine-and-dandy to have Trials for Terrorists in standard Court rooms for other fools of their ilk to spill information that needs to remain Secret (or, at least, unconfirmed speculation/rumor)…

The (fairly new and fragile) Government of Pakistan was dealt a blow against “Trust” within its own borders when Diane Feinstein (D-CA, Senate Intelligence Committee Chair) “blabbed” during a hearing before her committee Thursday: “Mr. Holbrooke in Pakistan ran into considerable concern about the use of Predator strikes in the FATA [Federally Administered Tribal Area: map] area of Pakistan and yet as I understand it these are flown out of a Pakistani base.” A spokesman for the Senator, in response to a Foxnews inquiry, stated that the Senator was referring to this Washington Post 03.27.2008: U.S. Steps Up Unilateral Strikes In Pakistan article. Blabbermouth’s staff would have us believe it would be acceptable to discuss unconfirmed speculative reporting in these hearings then, as long as they are not confirming or denying the report?!?!

The United States and Pakistan Governments have been very careful and guarded of any information released regarding Strikes within Pakistan borders by the U.S. military (or other agencies). This was to protect Operational Secrets from our enemies and to shield the unease that the elected government of Pakistan (has with Tribal groups) with relation to its “admitted” cooperation in the GWOT. While we have no “transparency” between its own citizens and the U.S. Federal Government, with regard to the operation of our own government in regard to legislation (passing the Stimulus), it would appear Democrats have no problem having GWOT Operational transparency with our enemies.

    Both of these stories are at a website called Geostrategy Direct, which is a pay e-mail newsletter from The World Tribune Company. The site is a subscription-only thing and I’m not paying for it..

    On Iran having nukifieds in their clothes hamper already, the teaser from Geostrategy is right here……
    A Russian nuclear proliferation expert contradicted a U.S. National Intelligence Estimate, telling a conference here that Iran has developed the capability to produce and fire nuclear weapons. “Iran already has nuclear capabilities,” [Ret.] Gen. Vladimir Dvorkin Dvorkin said on Feb. 4 in a speech to the the annual Herzliya Conference. He also said that said Iran has engineered its latest missiles, enabling them to contain a nuclear warhead. In a sharp departure from the U.S. NIE in late 2007, the Russian analyst said Teheran acquired most of the components needed for a nuclear bomb as early as 2003.

    My thoughts……..

    On Iran having nuked up already?…….Nope. They haven’t………. How do I know ?……. Easy…….. Tel Aviv still exists.

    On the possibility that Good ‘Ol Barry Boy drops sanctions on Iran……. I can definitely see this happening if it hasn’t already. That’s probably one of the surrender terms they gave him for his no-strings-attached talking to them.

    But hey, it’s ok. We have a 1,000+ page exponentially metastasizing cancer about to do a quick-march down Broadway, our individual rights liberties and freedom are hanging by a thread and some folks think talk radio is to blame for all of it.

    Hey look….. American Idol outtakes are on !

      And all I’ve got to say is that Obama has put all of us in the crosshairs of murderous thugs who want nothing more than to kill us to the last man, woman and child, just as they do Israel. Every day brings yet another reason to swallow around the lump in my throat and pray for my country.

      I can’t believe this guy has only been in office for less than a month. It seems like decades already.

        SOS Clinton announces (AP newstory here) the US will reach easy, early, quick, Arms agreement (read: SELLOUT OF AMERICAN DEFENSE AND INTERESTS AGAIN, typical for ANY Democrat administration). Failing to learn the “Peace through Strength” lessons of History, we enter the repeat of Democrat history/cycle of Surrender First Doctrine and Defense Cuts.

        We all know that you do not go out in Public announcing deals you don’t have a firm grasp are all but assured. For this administration, it is not as if they are ignoring that adage it is they clearly don’t care and are willing and looking for an excuse (as I and others (see: RS:robmikpet: National Defense Targeted Again (just one recent discussion that I had the link handy) around RS have discussed) to TERMINATE the Missile Defense Projects and any sham agreement to that affect is fine by them.

        Russia and the Terrorists have gotten the message, Obama is all for show and definitely Chamberlain not Churchill. The message is clear: The Era Of American Weakness Has Returned! The War in Afghanistan will go on for show, as the Democrats used it as the “that’s where the Taliban was that had to do with 9/11″ and they will want to save some face about avenging 9/11. The risk, of course, is their ineptness causing (getting us into) that greater/wider War many think is going to come if Pakistan (see: Feinstein (D-CA) Torpedoes Pakistan / Loose Lips Sinks Policy… er…. Countries…. er…. Ships) doesn’t get the “delicately” handled support it needs to remain afloat.

        We’ve all heard Obama say “I intend to go through the Budget line by line and eliminate programs that don’t work and other waste.” Lie, no – half truth (as usual)…. those of us that paid attention, of course know, what he meant was the usual Democrat cuts of reviewing the “DEFENSE BUDGET” and cutting (read: gutting) it. That is a promise he and Dodd, Frank, Conyers, etc, that have been clamouring for years about, will keep…. to the Nations detriment, AGAIN!
