Hollywood Hate-fest (2011 edition)

The Hollywood (Liberals) Hate-fest and urge to reinforce the Indoctrination foundation they lay through the schools of everything positive about Liberal/Progressive solutions to the ills of the Country/Planet and mocking of anything/everything “Conservative.” This also, of course, includes their disdain for Military (and Freedom-Fighting)… Coming soon to a Theater near you are more of the usual-suspect and retread plots of anti-Americanism. which leads me to have to ask: Will any PROTESTS be coming soon to those Theaters near you that show them?!?!? It would NOT be unprecedented – people were out protesting Dan Brown’s: Da Vinci Code, at Theaters all across America the Planet (info) yet Michael Moore-on films keep coming to Indoctrinate your kids and we see no challenges.

With the 2012 campaign season beginning, this Fall you will begin to again see a steady diet of Indoctrination laden messages in films of every type – they especially like (lately) to hide those “Conservatives” (Republicans) are stupid messages in Comedy fair (discussed later) where they can just (not so subtly) mock. Some will out-right blatant, such as the “Ides Of March” (2011) coming from George Clooney. All through 2012 you’ll be seeing the films step up their Indoctrination within the scripts to influence the 2012 election (they are desperate in Hollywood, so it may be even thicker than usual). Coming soon too is the Enviro-wacko message laden “Happy Feet Two” (2011) designed to have your kids drag you to the movie to see the cute “cartoon” with the (completely out in the open) Political Indoctrination intent (the “we’re killing the Planet” and “Global Warming” – the sky is falling – messages).

Oh, there’s plenty more (I’m not going to get through all of them here)… “Like Crazy” (2011) is an “open borders” immigration (they think they are being cute, clever, and subtle with it) message. While “Big Miracle” (2011) brings the Whale Wars (anti-Whaling) theme to the Big screen. Did you miss (animated/Pixar) “Cars 2” (2011) is a barrage of anti-Oil/anti-Corporate messages. Since I’m back on animated films to indoctrinate the kids with, I’ll go a few years back to mention – one of my all time favorite animated films – “WALL-E” (2008) with its Environmentalism, anti-Corporate, and direct stab at Walmart/Sams Club.

Never will you see lines like this:

Now, let me take a break and state that your local Theater is, of course, not at fault for these films appearing there – at least, normally. Except for those ultra-Liberal Independent “Artsy” Theaters that go out of their way to find and show any and all anti-Americanism films as possible from any and all obscure sources, most Theaters operate under Distribution agreements and are (more or less) obligated to put the films on-screen — but that doesn’t mean they can, could, or should, not be the focal point for showing our disdain for these pieces of trash that Liberals keep trying to shove down the throat of Americans as more of the same in the way of Continued Liberal-bent Indoctrination through trying to hide their messages in these films under the ‘guise of “Entertainment” upon some of the unsuspecting Politically Brain-dead masses (or worse, their desire to continue the brain-washing of your kids from out of the local Classrooms and into the Movie Theater).

What am I specifically talking about? What should be targeted? Last year we got these films…

Brothers,” for one!! [Official Movie site] Trust me, you’ve already seen this basic “concept” as the “Romantic interests” sub-plot from “Pearl Harbor.” Basically: Soldier supposedly dies; wife (or girlfriend, whatever) moves on, in the case of Brothers the wife becomes involved with the Soldiers’ literal (not figurative) Brother; Soldier isn’t dead and comes back; and the usual anti-Military, pro-appeasement, we should NEVER Fight anyone even if they attack us message, goes on to attempt to imply that all Soldiers go crazy because they were Soldiers, are unstable, etc. The – this is what always happens to/with Military folk BS message as their argument for their Surrender Doctrine.

Dear John,” for another!! [Official Movie site]. Is anything other than the Title need be mentioned for you to understand that you know exactly what this script portrays. This film’s sole “Make Love Not War” message is that “Military = Bad” (unless Democrats are in charge during Peace so it can be just another “Jobs” and “Education” Program), how it ‘changes’ folks and not for the better, tears couples/families apart, and on and on and on.

These films, of course, always/only focus on the EXCEPTIONS and never the rule that most our Military men and women are very fine, safe, sane, responsible, loving, FREEDOM LOVING, Americans!

These are, of course, only two of countless that I could go on to mention. You get the point! Now, What are you going to do about them??

The remainder of 2011 and through 2012 will focus less on anti-military theme and more direct anti-Conservatism (or anti-Republican) bias (like I go into more in the original: Movies and Politics — The Hollywood Hate-fest), as I touched on at the beginning of this article. I fully even expect the upcoming comedy “Tower Heist” (2011); which I expect to be funny, and I expect to go see; to be Left-laden (as it deals with a Bernie Madoff type theme and rest assured, he’ll be painted as an evil Republican and those hard-working stiffs he rips off as victim Liberals/Democrats). Likewise, I’ll mention, “Margin Call” (2011) and anti-Corporate, anti-Wall Street, and Class Warfare, to help reinforce Obama’s rhetoric and upcoming Election year posturing.

There are some bright spots. Several more in Hollywood have openly declared themselves to either be full-fledged Conservatives, or at least Republican, rather than full-blown Leftist Democrats. Those increasing ranks are banding together in pushing more (at least, unbiased, plain entertainment if not actual) Conservative values based films. “7 Days in Utopia” (late Summer 2011), “Soul Surfer” (2010, now on DVD), “Courageous” (Fall 2011 / pictured above) [Official Movie site], among others; though those I mentioned there have Religious value underpinnings, other Liberal-bias free films do not (my favorite comedy: “An American Carol” – available on DVD). Make no mistake though, by a huge majority Hollywood still doesn’t just lean Left it’s plain fallen over onto its Left side ;) lol.

from the Studio and Producers of “The Blind Side” comes “Dolphin Tale” (2011) [Official Movie site], Trailer/Preview above, and it is as cute as the double meaning tail/tale implies. You might be concerned about the potential Veggie-politics, opening credits scenes, anti-fishing message, but this film does NOT dwell on such – it is a true story and it is relevant. Nor is this an anti-Military film, the Wounded-Warrior element is critical to the true story and our men and women in uniform are treated with honor and dignity. Despite the movies star Morgan Freeman’s recent Race-baiting (below), this film is very worthy of your entertainment dollars.

Amazingly, embedding is disabled for that clip everywhere; think the Studio isn’t desperately trying to protect its investment and distancing itself from him; but you can see his complete statement by going to http://youtu.be/Wn6gcCXtEzo/ or see his double-standards, contridictory, messages here: http://youtu.be/qSbjRElWv5I/

Since when, Mr. Freeman, has it NOT been the goal of ANY Political Party to limit its opposition Party’s President to ONE TERM?!?!

Perhaps buy tickets to another movie (say “Courageous,” “7 Days In Utopia,” or “Drive” even; if you want to avoid financially supporting Left-wing Actors/Actresses; to support them more financially but then sit in on “Dolphin Tale” if you want to see it (especially with your kids) — or wait and rent it for $1 from a RedBox when it comes available.

i am glad you recommended it. i am going to see it this when it comes out this weekend.

    • mikeymike143

within the past several years, i have been only been able to find a couple of movies to go see that are truly conservative. they were atlas shrugged and i want your money. i have heard that courageous also fits the bill.

there are some decent “entertainment” oriented films w/o the BS political bent, but I often do still want to see some that I know will have a Left lean – so, as I pointed out in the article, I buy a ticket to a film deserving of my financial support while still seeing the other ones. I bought many, many, many, tickets to “Fireproof” while seeing other movies — as I do not condone ripping off the theaters but not necessarily supporting certain films, actors, studios, whatever. They (theaters) owners are happy, and I am happy.

Thanks for the reco and see my comment to RWM about “The Help” below.

  • rightwingmom52

Our minister mentioned this movie in our Sunday bulletin and encouraged everyone to see it, particularly this weekend in an effort to help with its opening and send a message to Hollywood that folks will pay to see a clean, uplifting movie instead of their usual garbage.

up until the “Creature” film last week and now I’ve missed many. But, as I’ve said several times now, I haven’t always paid for the exact film I’ve seen but rather paid for one I’d rather support with my money and not support particular studios, actors, films, etc, yet still see them. Movies are the one rare thing in life (even with as expensive as they’ve gotten, still much cheaper than many other nights out) that I really enjoy and can “somewhat” afford.

The Help” is also a very good film worthy of our dollars. I saw “Moneyball” the other day, but paid for The Help again. I do NOT financially support Brad Pitt movies. But, again, I will NOT rip-off the theater itself – I like those folks there.

Good to see/hear from you again RWM… I’ve not been around much lately. I mostly hang out at a local MI Tea Party site these days.

Take care all… and God Bless…

Atlas Shrugged was a directing, acting, and cinematography nightmare.

Its not like American Carol is much to be proud of either.

It is my opinion that top 3 most well made conservative movies of the decade are:

    3) Extraordinary Measures — Shows any liberal that if you believe in something passionately your pathway to solving it will only be successful going through the market and that way leads to no less pure nor amazing results than any public solution.

    2) Pursuit of Happyness — Shows that achieving success for you and your family is something that is admirable and for many can lead to their “Happyness” as much as the left tries to push the lie that personal success doesn’t make people happy.

1)Away We Go — This was one that many missed and even BigHollywood missed that the movie was a satirizing liberal characters in the movie they weren’t supposed to be liked. This unbelievably touching movie delivers a Trifecta.

First, it goes around and creates leftist characters an exposes them as the ignorant, racist, crazy, elitist SOBs that aren’t worthy of people’s respect.

Then it exposes with absolute gritting emotion the damage that modern feminism has done to future families.

And then finally takes on another area of feminism detailed in amazing horror to sane pro family viewers that watched the Golden Globe Best Picture, The Hours(the worst movie ever made) and exposes that movies premise for the unbelievably evil people they are.

I’ve never seen a movie that is more pro family in all of my life. Although it is designed for a little bit younger crowd(20-40) and does have a couple of vulgar jokes in the movie you will come away astonished. Several people I know have labeled it the best movie they’ve ever seen. It was an Oscar worthy piece directed by an amazing director. But it was to much of an affront to everything the Academy believes so they snubbed it.

Shame Morgan didn’t learn anything from his role in the film and the life of Mandela. If that film would have been from the usual Lefty-loons of Hollywood, rather than Clint Eastwood, it would’ve been nothing but a Love Obama-fest by inference – but was instead a very good CONTRAST of a real leader and a pathetic divider, class-war-faring, race-baiting, disturber, agitator, like Obama’s constant IN-YOUR-FACE politics opposed to Mandela’s real attempts to heal, keep a CALM (not agitate), smooth/sooth tensions (not inflame them like Obama), etc…

The film showed a real Leader opposed to the Community Organizer and Race-Baiter-In-Chief we have.

I am not a big fan of modern movies, most are re-hashed plots with little thought or substance behind them. If you add in the Leftist preaching, it is downright tripe. There may be two or three good films made in one year nowadays.

I am more of a classic film buff. They do not make movies like that anymore. Can you imagine a movie like Mr. Smith Goes To Washington being made today? Or how about the movie Born Yesterday where William Holden teaches Judy Holliday to think for herself and all about our nation’s history? Those films were pro-American, well-written, with solid acting. A combination almost extinct today.

That being said, I have heard The Help is good and 7 Days in Utopia looks interesting.

      • runner12

Pixar is one of the exceptions to modern movie blahness. With the exception of Cars 2, they have made some great films.

When you can make people care about an animated fish and cry hysterically at scenes with music as the only background in Up, you are making some quality films.

        • http://www.ssce.net/Web-Articles/Web-articles-indexed-authors.html#authors-l JLenardDetroit

The Help was very well done – but we’re in for the onslaught of “bad old days of Racism” fare (including on Network TV as “period” related stuff) as they think they are being subtle in supporting the JackAss Party rhetoric of “The Tea Party folk are Racist” Race-baiting non-sense. Just as they continue to mainstream the LGBT lifestyle by constantly barraging our children with so and so has “two Mommy’s” and the like fare.

        • rightwingmom52

to love Up, considering Ed Asner had the lead voice, but it was a terrific movie, and the music was beautiful.

I’m showing my age now, but I remember a time when you could watch anything with Susan Heyward and have to get out the box of Kleenex. Shenandoah and Old Yeller were family favorites that we watched every time they came on TV. In fact, I remember seeing Old Yeller at the drive-in with my family when I was a little girl. Those were the days.

And as corny as some of them were, old war movies were, and still are, the best.

          • http://www.ssce.net/Web-Articles/Web-articles-indexed-authors.html#authors-l JLenardDetroit

There was one many, many, many, years ago with Melanie Griffith, Don Johnson, and John Goodman… but could you imagine it done again today? The group that did Atlas Shrugged ought to buy the rights and do it again ASAP!!! Rush it for Summer 2012 release (much is indoor scenes and not requiring a huge budget).

          • runner12

The Best Years Of Our Lives that chronicles the return of soldiers from WW11 to their homes. It is film both honest and respectful to those who gave so much.
            I highly reccomend it.

And yes, I ugly cried in UP and in the theater to boot. The film was so unexpected for me. But that is typical of the good Pixar films. They will lead you on what you think is a predictable trail and then totally flip things around on you. I love it.

I wish you could see the scrapbook that my grandmother left me. My grandfather served in the war, and while he was away, she kept scrapbooks of newspaper cuttings. I’ve got front page pictures of returning POWs with arms and legs down to the bone.

Stark images and touching stories to go along with them.

      • http://www.ssce.net/Web-Articles/Web-articles-indexed-authors.html#authors-l JLenardDetroit

to be something other than the same old stuff… to be “different” and yet still deal with Liberal bias. Hollywood has become little more than an extension of the Liberal Left Media arm of the Democrat (Liberals/Progressives) Party. But, of course, you knew that — some haven’t quite figured out yet that it is no coincidence. Certainly no CONSPIRACY, just Liberals doing what Liberals do, engaging in Group-think and being Activists for their Brainless-ness.

        • runner12

Most celebrities are better known for their Liberal activism rather than their acting abilities nowadays.

  • http://www.ssce.net/Web-Articles/Web-articles-indexed-authors.html#authors-l JLenardDetroit

that need to be guided (we can lead to horses to the water, they have to decide to drink the truth) so that they can come to their epiphany moment of the Hollywood Lefty-loon bias just as in the rest of Media. Some of them think all those stories are innocently, coincidentally, Enviro-whacko and other Lefty cause filled. They don’t see the Hollywood ACTIVISTS Producers, Writers, Actors, etc, as being Activists for their Brain-Deaded-ness (again, as I’ve said elsewhere, NOT in some Conspiracy, just doing the Lefty-loon group think thing in the open without coordination).

We do NOT reject Science… We reject JUNK SCIENCE!!! Just as we knew the Climate-scam of THE NEW ICE AGE of the ’70s would pass, the current Climate $cam is just taking longer to be exposed for the Watermelon BS (Green on the outside, RED/Socialist on the inside) it is. That, of course, is a whole other topic though.

  • earlgrey

very closed off culture. I notice that there are fewer and fewer good films and ideas coming from Hollywood and they really heavily on political jibes at conservative values.

I am struggling to figure out how Hollywood can continue to get much worse, and still be successful. They are so out of touch with traditional Americans. That is OK when times are good, but overpaid actors lecture mainstream America about our flaws will hopefully turn people off in the times of economic hardship we currently face.

  • Raven

I’ve been a tad busy watching stuff I don’t have to pay $8 apiece for the matinee. So I don’t intend to give the theaters or Hollywood any real significant amount of money for the foreseeable future unless something comes out that I Really want to see.

  • http://www.ssce.net/Web-Articles/Web-articles-indexed-authors.html#authors-l JLenardDetroit

If we are to see more of them, we really need to… Courageous is one such film worthy of your support. Agree, you don’t need to pay $10/ticket for a night show, see a matinee or twilight showing.

For the record, in case you don’t know… The theaters do NOT see much of that Ticket price. It all depends on the Studio and the specific film. With “supposed” Blockbusters, they can see as little as 5% of that Ticket price — that is why concession prices are what they are as that is their Bread Popcorn and Butter (can’t resist bad pun opportunity). The longer a Movie runs, the better the percentage of Box Office is retained by the Theater establishment.

While I do NOT condone such…. deep down, secretly, the theaters would rather have you sneak in and not buy the ticket opting to purchase Popcorn and a Drink instead. They can actually make some money that way. They will, of course, never admit that and cannot ever be perceived as allowing such.

  • Raven

Sorry. A boring film is a boring film. Give me another “We Were Soldiers.”

Until then, my money stays home with me, regardless of the values supported in the movie. Tickets just cost too much. like I said, the Matinee is $8 now.
I could spend 2 hours on the archery range, or 1 hour with my wife for that money. Buy another book. Get another month of Netflix. $8 will still buy a lot and a single movie ticket just isn’t enough unless it’s a hell of a movie.
Not to mention the cost of the popcorn and drinks. There’s another $10 a person easy. I could spend a weekend at an SCA event for $18 a head.
