I strongly suspect they are deeply saddened and angered by Obama. They were duped and exploited by the very people who positioned themselves as their saviors and their voice (Rev. Jackson, Farrakhan, the entire democrat party, ACORN...the list is endless), and I think they are starting to realize that. The good that can come from this is that, hopefully, they will start heeding the conservative voices within their own community and stop believing victim myth that has been dangled in front of them for the purpose of getting their vote. I do think the self-entitlement crowd and the habitually belligerent will continue to "bitch and moan" , but I don't see that as being a market cornered by the black community. Stupidity is color-blind.

That kind of thinking will set race relations back to before the Civil Rights Movement and they're almost there now.

All politics are identity politics of one form or another. Those who voted for Obama voted for change but didn't bargain on the kind of change they're getting.

It is not hopeless. My husband is an over the road truck driver now. He hears stuff all the time from Obama voters who are kicking themselves in the butt for voting for him.

Blacks aren't the only ones who voted for Obama and they're just as welcome to admit they were wrong as anybody else.

Historically, after the Civil War, blacks identified with Republicans. During the depression with FDR they started moving toward the Democrats. The Democrats have capitalized on that with their false care that has done little to raise up anybody but the politicians.

They just need to be reminded of where their roots really are. They need to remember they didn't go through a Civil War or the Civil Rights Movement to become nothing more than pawns for an elite ruling class.

you've got no worries. Regardless of how the black community would feel about him, we conservatives of any ethnicity would line up 100 deep at the polls for the chance to elect him or her!

Just let us know if you see one who might qualify for that position, okay?:-)

Is that people in my community (black community) are willing to go over the cliff with him. Knowing full well that after his term is up, since he appears to have pissed off the lib base and he as surely pissed off conservatives, there may be a zero chance in hell for another African American president (granted that truly does not matter to me), even if that black person was the 2nd incarnation of Ronald Reagan.
