Exit polls are out in Illinois, and it shows a close contest: Donald Trump has 38% to Ted Cruz's 34%. If Illinois remains this close, then that means Cruz may end up with some Congressional delegates, thanks to the bizarre Illinois "loophole" primary, which is explained more thoroughly here.
However, a 3-4 point difference in exit polling is all it takes for an upset, and Cruz could very well make one tonight, something the anti-Trump movement is in desperate need of after the results in Florida. Illinois could very well be the most interesting race of the night.
Stay tuned while we wait for more of the final calls on this primary night.
