The British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal ruled today that a controversial article about Islam in Maclean’s magazine did not violate the province’s hate speech law.

I’m glad to see it, but it never should have happened in the first place.

    At least it is up in Canada. When the suit got dismissed in Ontario it pretty much signified that it was over.

    However…we are having an election up here on the 14th (go S Harp) and if Dion gets in the human rights mandarins might try it again.

    But you are 100% correct. Never should have happened. Unfortunetly this is Canada.
