Israel and the Bush Doctrine

For all you people who criticized George W. Bush for invading Iraq because of concerns about WMD’s, what would you now advise the Israeli government do about Iran? As with Iraq in 2003, the world can only speculate as to whether Iran has a nuclear weapons program. My guess is they do. What makes Israel more vulnerable then the United States to a nuclear strike has to do with geography

Simple put, the large geographical size and relative isolated location makes the Untied States virtually impossible to destroy with anything short of nuclear Armageddon. The little nation of Israel, on the other hand, could be destroyed from the fallout of just one nuclear blast. So now, do we wait for evidence of Iran’s nuclear program in the form of a mushroom cloud over Israel?

I should hope not. Knowing that Israel is surrounded by a Who’s Who of Iranian sponsored terrorist organizations, I would hope they put the Bush Doctrine of preemptive strike into action and destroy Iran’s nuclear weapons program. If they don’t, chances are they’ll never see a mushroom cloud—they’ll be part of it.

They’re the ones facing a second Holocaust, and they’re the ones who are going to have to take care of their business. Sitting in the far-away comfort (so far) of Amercia, we’re really not in a position to advise a nation that’s watching a gun facing them at point-blank range being loaded.

At this point, I’d be happy if the Obama administration would just BUTT OUT!

Republicans should unite in criticism of Obama. Wasn’t it Clinton who said “I think Palestinians should have the right to live where they want to.” Well, Israelis have the right to live where they want to including in expanded developments on their own soil. Republicans should encourage Israel to reject POTUS and expand developments. I want Obama to be exposed as the POTUS with proud muslim roots.

but you are right they should force the issue. I don’t care about Obama’s roots, I do care if he is a real Israeli ally like all other presidents at least claimed to be (Carter now is an enemy of course).

I don’t think this is about Jews only, I think Americans understand Israel is a friend and democracy. If Obama shows he is a squish at best, he will be damaged.

When he stated that Isreal as well as the Palestinians were as much at fault for thier conflict between them.
        You know.
        Palestinians shooting rockets into Isrreal,
and the dumb Isrealis for geting in the way of the rockets.
Obama says thier both to blame.

Iran can also see Israel is in a box, there is a chance a sane leader might climb down from this. Other than this possibility, Israel needs to fire first, it it their duty. Israel can lay waste to Iran any time it wants to. If they follow Obama they will never use their own weapons, they will simply cease to exist.
