Whatever (whoever) my enemy opposes is my friend. The more vindictive (or caustic) my enemy becomes in their attack, the more I know we are on the right track for America.

The Loonies tried to bring down the Bush administration and in some respects they were successful. The shame is that they radicalized their party and destroyed almost all trust in government in the process.

Politicians such as Palin are urgently needed in leadership to allow our institutions to function as our Founders intended. We must grind down the command and control mentality that is waiting in the wings to take credit for the saving of "our economy."

Can't be too pessimistic right now 'cause history shows our system of government has survived such crises before. Until they confiscate every weapon, including pitchforks and slingshots, I will not lose all hope.

Sarah Palin came on the scene at just the right time, in my opinion. Let her continue to speak out and we shall see what can be done. I was perhaps a tad too strongly encouraged when she did not leap at the chance to kiss the Oprah's ring. I took it as a positive sign that some things are not for sale. I think you know what I mean. Can a person who runs marathon and field dresses moose with aplomb be intimidated by the likes of The Huffblow or The Tingler? Enjoyed reading your post.
