In two previous postings, here and here, I have discussed six reasons why Sen. John McCain should emerge victorious in tomorrow’s race for the White House. To recap, they are media bias, oversampling of Democrats by most polling organizations, Obama campaign smugness, his long list of criminal and radical associates, the center-right majority of America’s voters and the uncounted millions of PUMAs hiding under cover, | Read More »
In a recent posting , I went on the record to say that John McCain should win the presidential election Tuesday, and I listed five reasons which lead me to this conclusion. They are media bias, pollster oversampling of Democrats, Obama campaign hubris, the Democrat candidate’s many suspect associations and the fact that the American electorate has a center-right majority. There is a sixth reason | Read More »
I believe John McCain will pull off an upset victory in the general election next Tuesday, just as he revived what all the “experts” had said was a dead campaign and went on to win the primaries which earned him his party’s nomination. There are five reasons for my optimism for the McCain-Palin ticket’s chances.
When it comes to political public opinion polls, if I had to pick the one which I would trust more than all the others, it would be the Battleground Poll. The WaPo survey reported that Kerry “continued to claim a large lead in key battleground | Read More »
“Mainstream media” (MSM) never was an accurate representation of what this country’s major print and broadcast news sources are and what they do. “Mainstream” is defined, when used as an adjective, as “representing the prevailing attitudes, values and practices of a society or group.” The media, as a group, certainly has a set of prevailing attitudes, values and practices, but they are not those of | Read More »
So the aging hippie-chick Wilson sisters of the 1970s-80s rock band Heart object to their song “Barracuda” being played at McCain Palin events. So what? Why not use another Wilson’s (no relation, I think) song instead? Gretchen Wilson likely would not mind loaning her wildly popular country anthem “Redneck Woman” to Sarah Palin , I’ll wager. Gretchen was a Fred Thompson supporter early on and | Read More »
Presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Barack Obama has chosen, and his selection of Sen. Joe Biden for the ticket’s second spot has not helped his faltering campaign:
I’ve already shown how Sarah Palin would be a smart pick by John McCain to be his running mate. In light of recent events, she’s looking like a smarter selection . The announcement made early this morning by the Obama camp that Delaware Senator Joe Biden is Obama’s choice to share the Democrat presidential ticket with him sets the stage for McCain to name his | Read More »
