It’s Time to Take on the MSM.

We have seen now that the mainstream media will stop at nothing to make sure that a milquetoast country club Rockefeller-style liberal Republican win the nomination and ensure Barack Obama wins another term as President. And with some of the declared and potential conservative candidates being Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, and Herman Cain, they won’t be afraid to use slanderous racist and sexist attacks against them either to make it happen.

It’s time conservatives take it to the MSM using the tools we have in our disposal. Here’s my proposal:

If you read an MSM article like this one: “Sarah Palin, Donald Trump Attract Hype, but Share Few Policy Proposals.” from ABC News’ Huma Khan, we need to respond.

I’m not a fan of Trump, and think he’s full of it, but to lump Palin with him is unfair. Palin HAS shared police proposals on her Facebook page (http://ow.ly/5d5YV) and in TV interviews, most recently one with Chris Wallace (http://ow.ly/5d6bt) Those are just two links. Plus, the “source” for her article is a big time Mitt Romney fan (http://ow.ly/5d5OD)

So I wrote a comment, doing the research Huma should have done before she lazily lumped Gov. Palin with Trump.

Legitimate criticisms are one thing, lying about our candidates is another thing entirely. It’s time for us to stand up to the MSM, let’s not sit back and watch our candidates get slandered! Let’s flood these negative articles with comments showcasing the truth and if we get deleted, we’ll send a complaint to the organization and send our letters to Andrew Breitbart and Matt Drudge!

The MSM controlled the information in 20th century, but not any more! We have power now, let’s use it!

Write to the MSM to tell them they are unfair? Why? They already know that. So does everyone else.

William Kelly wrote: “According to Rasmussen polls taken just before the November 2008 election: 68% of voters said most reporters try to help the candidate they want to win, and 51% believed they were trying to help Barack Obama. Just seven percent (7%) thought they were trying to help John McCain.”

Every time a journalist student is asked Why he or she wants to become a journalist the answer is the same. “I want to make a difference.” Therein lies the problem. In order to make a difference you have to manipulate the news, not report it.

Support “fair and balanced” news. Write to venues where your writings will not be scrubbed, Support your candidates until it hurts, Talk politics where ever you can. Proselytize! Make sure that YOU make a difference, but if you try running against the MSM wall, you are just going to get a concussion.
