I have always agreed with you in the past but my patience is beginning to wear thin. How many times do we have to hold our noses in the general election because the party elite have decided that we are supposed to vote for the milk-toast middle? I have had about as much as I can stand. I said it here yesterday and I will say it again: Nixon, Reagan, Bush I, and Bush II all ran as conservatives and won while Ford, Bush I (after raising taxes), Dole, and McCain ran as centrists and lost.

My point is that we don’t seem to learn from our history and it is looking more and more like we are going to have to relearn it again this time around. The party elite are telling us we have to have Romney as our candidate. Well, I have had it with them. I want an alternative.

As of right now, we have two genuine conservatives that are splitting our votes. Let’s start combining them together all the time. So tomorrow we will say, ” 54% of the Florida voters voted for a true conservative candidate and Romney only got 40% – he lost.”

I’m not saying I’m really going to do it, BUT we need them (the RINO’s that run this thing we call a party) to think (I know, that assumes that they can) that we MIGHT go for a third party or not vote at all if they insist on Romney as the candidate.
