To be sure, Emanuel is no centrist by any definition on health care, taxes, and energy, but with his reputation as a bare-knuckle, skull-cracking enforcer, it stands to reason he'll bend some arms -- on &lt;em&gt; both&lt;/em&gt; sides of the aisle. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I know Rahm, Erick, and Moe quite well from my previous job, though I wager the latter two (and some of my former colleagues) may disagree with my assessment.&lt;/p&gt;
