Ron Gettelfinger, President of the UAW in an article posted on Yahoo News is blaming the auto makers dilemma on everyone and everything except on themselves. Their out of control costs, poor quality and exorbitant payroll and benefits are directly to blame. Their cost of doing business is twice as much as Nissan’s, Toyota’s and Honda.

In fact Toyota San Antonio, the plant which produces the Tundra shut down operations for three months while the company re-tooled its factory to meet the need of having to put out a more efficient model. During those three months their employees were still on the payroll being re-trained in addition to performing community service.

Not once did I hear Toyota go to the government with their hands out for a bailout. They are the success they are due to responsible business and cost control practices.

There are other avenues that the Big3 can take to save themselves but the Democrats and Obama have a vested interest in getting some of our money to them and it is called VOTES.

Where will this all end? Everyone is now trying to their hands on a piece of the taxpayer’s pie and the majority party and the newly elected President will be very happy to oblige as long as the favor is returned with those magical votes.

With power comes responsibility and when we elect leaders to power they are trusted with that responsibility of power. However power in the hands of the ignorant is dangerous!

During the elections which were recently held, we elected leaders that were chosen in the hopes that they will be guiding us through some very troubling times. Yet as I reflect on those that will be serving, there is a question mark as to how wise some of those decisions were.

In California for instance, voters were against Proposition 8, which turned down same sex marriage. Yet Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is telling the disappointed gay rights activists not to worry, as he will see that it gets to the courts and will fight that it be overturned. This is a clear example of power in the hands of the ignorant. It is ignorant and dangerous when an elected official will go against the will of the people in order to satisfy the will of the minority.

In Ohio we have Helen Jones-Kelly, the director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services investigating a private citizen who asked a question that embarrassed a presidential candidate. As payback this citizen’s life was turned upside down and inside out. This is the danger of power in the hands of an ignorant public servant.

We have Congressman John Murtha, who believes that his state is full of “rednecks” and “racists”. A man who condemns the very military he served in as murderers. This is a man who yields considerable power yet so ignorant, so dangerous.

Then there is the Senate Majority Leader who is so heavily invested in defeat that he claimed the war was lost. How ignorant is that? How demoralizing is it to our troops to hear such a powerful man tell them they are fighting a losing battle?

This list could go on and on and you can add your own examples of power in the hands of the ignorant but you get the message.

We need to be more selective as to those we are willing to give power to, especially when their ignorance can be a danger to us all.

Why is it that the government, our Absolutely Ignorant Government (A.I.G.) loves rewarding failures and punishing success?

Close to 1 trillion dollars was needed to help our ailing economy or else we would just collapse into ruins. We needed to help our housing industry because Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae needed more money to pay their top excutives and donate to political godfathers. We needed to help that hugh insurance giant, AIG from collapse because they needed more money to have their lavish and secretive parties. We need to shore up the banking industry because of their crazy sub prime lending practices and outlandish salaries to non-deserving executives. Then states like California and New York have their hands out for their piece of the bailout pie because of their out of control spending. Now, it is the US Automakers who are wanting money to help them out of their financial mess.

What do each of these have in common? They are all failures, thanks to their poor management, out of control spending, outrageous salaries, and outlandish greed. Yet our Adsolutely Ignorant Government (A.I.G.) is willing to use our money that we entrust to them to bail these idiots out. Then they have the nerve to tell us that “WE” will be the owners of these failing entities. I have news for our Absolutely Ignorant Government (A.I.G.), I for one do not want anything to do with these LOSERS. But our Absolutely Ignorant Government (A.I.G.) think they know better and are ready to do whatever they can to prop up these failures.

However on the other hand our Absolutely Ignorant Government (A.I.G.) were ready to punish companies like Walmart, Microsoft, AT&T and Exxon for being successful. These companies were called “greedy” because they were profitable, (imagine that!). Now our Absolutely Ignorant Government (A.I.G) would like to punish those people who have the nerve of making over $250k per year by taking some of their hard earned money away and rewarding those who are have done nothing at all to deserve it.

Do we have an Absolutely Ignorant Government (A.I.G.) or is it just me?

President-Elect Obama recently met with his team of economic advisors with the hopes of addressing the nation’s problems concerning the ailing economy. One of the advisors stood out above the rest and caught my attention. She is the Governor of Michigan, Jennifer Granholm, Canadian born American politician and a possible nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court, under an Obama administration.

I do not know if President-Elect Obama wants her advice on how to fix the economy or if he is using her administration as an example of what not to do. If he is seeking her advice on how to fix the nation’s problems then Heaven help us all because we might as well grab both ankles and take the pain about to be administered. If he is using the state of Michigan’s plight as what not to do, then I would say he is on the right track.

The state of Michigan’s economy is in ruins. Look at the auto industry who are hoping for a federal bail out and at our expense. Unemployment is at 8.7% as of September this year. In fact Michigan’s unemployment is higher than that of France. Things are so bad that Governor Granholm was desperate enough to grab Auto Theft Funds , paid by motorists to the Automobile Theft Prevention Authority. These funds which generate about $6.3 million in revenue were to be used to help nab car thieves but the Governor wanted to use them elsewhere.

This grab for monies, kind of remind me of what is being floated around Washington. Hijacking the 401k funds and incorporating them in with the Social Security Program. Doing this would certainly infuse a lot of money into a government run program. I can imagine how they would screw up the 401ks.

I am really praying that Obama has better sense to follow the advice of a governor whose state’s business tax is dragging down their economy. According to the Tax Foundation Commentary, “Michigan’s economy is a mess and most lawmakers agree the Single Business Tax is the reason why.”

I have no idea what President-elect Obama’s mind set is when it comes to Governor Granholm except that it may be time for some heavy duty political paybacks. We need to keep our eyes on this.

The election is over and a President has been elected. Now it is time for the Republicans to get over it and stop crying.

As I read blogs, listen to talk radio or see the Republican pundits on television, all I hear is whiny, cry baby losers. Licking our wounds will not change any of the events of November 4Th. Instead of placing the blame on an unfair media bias, ACORN or whatever else, we must place the blame exactly where it belongs. ON US!

Over the past few years, conservatives have lost their way. We went off course, we were not careful when choosing those we wanted to represent us. So now what? Instead of crying we need to re-group, we need to find men and women who will represent our conservative ideology. We have two years to achieve this and as everyone knows time flies by and 2010 will soon arrive.

Therefore, lets get off the “poor us” wagon and start being pro-active and find our way back from perdition

While I did not vote for Senator Obama for President, he is my President and I will always respect the office that he will hold. I will afford him more respect than my fellow Americans on the other side of the aisle have given our current President.

President-Elect Obama will need all of our prayers. He has come to us with youth and inexperience and the task ahead of him will be overwhelming. Our prayer should be that God will guide him in the selection of his cabinet and others who will serve under his administration.

We are blessed for living in this great country and must remember that those blessings come from our Creator and not from our government. Let’s stand together and hold our leaders accountable for their actions.

God bless our country and President-elect as well as his family. May they be kept safe and may God touch and guide their lives.

Now that we have broken the racial barrier with the election of Barack Obama, parents and teachers are joyfully telling their children that anyone can become the President of the United States. Is that really true? I think at one time it may have been but in this election I have my doubts.

Consider the following:
Mr. Obama broke every record in U.S. History on fundraising and spending to become the nation’s 44Th president.
He brought in over $650 million using the traditional means in addition to the Internet.
In 2004, John Kerry raised half of that.
In 2002, Al Gore and George Bush combined raised half of that.
One half of the money came from people giving $200 or less and it will be almost impossible to trace the sources.
With all this money he was able to buy the very best advertisements, he was packaged very neatly by a top notch marketing team. He purchased a 30 minute infomercial. He purchased ads in video games. This does not account for the priceless coverage by the Main Stream Media.

So, my question is this. Can little Juanita or little Juanito still grow up to become President of the United States? Absolutely, that is if you have enough cash in your pocket and a willing media to go along with it.

The moral is this, your resume and experience will not matter, just show me the money!

Last night the American people overwhelmingly elected Senator Barack Obama to the presidency of the United States of America. Congratulations of course are in order for this great achievement and for becoming the first Black American elected to this high office.

The people of this great country have shown the world that we are not a racist country, especially since Mr. Obama carried over 52% of the vote with 63 million people casting their votes for him. This of course was done with the help of millions of whites, latinos, Asians, Jews, blacks and many more.

Now all the white guilt, black guilt, latino guilt, jewish guilt and any other guilts can be erased and no one should ever have to apologize to the blacks of America for whatever we were supposed to feel guilty about in the first place.

I am sure that Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakan, NAACP and other shake down artists will have to look for another source of income. Racism is over in America and everyone will be on equal footing, thanks to this historic election.

We should never have to hear the hate from the mouths of Oprah, Jeremiah Wright, Father Pfleger and the Hollywood elite again. For racism is dead in America!

However, will it be racist if we question the policies of our new president? Will it be racist if we do not support his stance on abortion? Will it be racist if we do not agree with his position on defense, taxes and spreading the wealth around? Will we be considered a racist if we oppose his nominations to the Supreme Court and other judicial appointments?

I certainly hope not because it is just so awesome that racism is dead!

Today, the American people have exercised a right that that is so precious and that others would love to have. They have let their voices be heard and we will have chosen leaders that we hope will lead this country in the right direction. Many will not agree with the outcome but we must live with the choice of the majority until the next cycle is upon us.

“Americans have a week mind.” These were the words of my Political Science professor at the beginning of one of his classes. He explained that what he meant by this was that as a rule we only remember things for a week then we have a tendency of becoming complacent.

He hit the nail on the head with those words and if you think about it, we do become very complacent. In this election, I am afraid the same will be true. However we must not allow this to happen this time around. We must become more involved in the political process and hold every elected official from the local level to the highest level accountable for their actions.

Let’s stay involved as well as passionate as we have shown in this election cycle and when the people we have chosen to represent us are not doing their job then let’s get them out of office. We can no longer afford to allow politicians to take advantage of us. We need to stop having a “week” mind.

Everyone at one time or another has experienced “buyer’s remorse”. I know I have on more than one occasion.

Today I was volunteering at the Texas Republican Headquarters calling voters that were registered as Republicans. We were asking if they had already voted, if they needed assistance in getting to the polls or if there were any questions we could answer for them.

Twice I came across people who said they had voted during Texas’ early voting period and had abandoned the party to crossover and vote for Obama. They also confessed that they were now experiencing “voter’s remorse” in light of new revelations that have come out on Obama. One even claimed that she was so ashamed of her vote and actually felt ill for casting her vote for Mr. Obama.

It made me wonder just how many people are in the same situation but will never admit it. I also wonder how many people will vote for Mr. Obama and should he win, will they live to regret it.

People will one day realize that our votes are a precious gift and should be used with caution and not thrown away. Never trust the main stream media to dictate to you how to vote. Instead investigate for yourself the merits of those running for office. Then and only then vote for the candidate best suited for the job. Rmemeber our future depends on our educated vote.

The moral is this: Never vote for a person just because you feel you will be a part of history. Vote for the person based on their qualifications, not their rhetoric

Recently I posted “Abortion a Matter of Life and Death” and I had someone who responded to me via email the following:

“People who are pro-choice (including me) don’t consider embryos to be “innocent lives.” Before viability I consider it to be a tissue in the mother’s body, hence one she can choose to remove if she wishes.
Obviously you disagree, but from that perspective abortion is not murder any more than having a mole removed would be.”

Now, can you imagine anyone comparing the killing of a living being to the removal of a mole?

This is so ignorant and I wrote her back telling her so, in addition to sending her the video I had posted on an earlier post.

Then someone wrote me the following:

“While we are pro life we do not think that this video is appropriate due to the fact that it is a shock video and is not recommended for viewing.”

My goodness, I think America has its value system all screwed up!

It is OK for first graders to witness a “lesbian wedding”
It is OK to teach Johnny about having two daddies and Heather having two mommys .
It is OK to teach our first graders about the use of condoms.
It is not OK for a coach wants to say a prayer before a game.
It is OK to keep prayer out of our schools.
It is OK to want to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance or off our currency because it may offend someone.
But it is not OK to show a video that shows the taking of an innocent life because it is shocking. Hell yes it is shocking ! What else would you call the murder of sweet innocent babies who cannot defend themselves?

It is OK to compare the removal of a mole to an abortion and that is not shocking? Give me a break! That is just total ignorance! It is “political correctness” at its worst.

Dear God ,what is becoming of our country? Dear country, what is becoming of our values?

To date I have had 37 emails supporting the video and in support of life and only one email saying that she had no idea when life began but admitted she was an agnostic. What would you expect from someone who has no clue if there is a God or not?

Pray for our country, we need an awaking!

In this presidential campaign we have heard very little about the murder of innocent and defenseless children. Yet if you look at the above numbers it is just staggering . Who will be watching out for them in this election ?
We have a choice to make between a candidate who is Pro-Life and another who has no clue when life begins. We have a candidate who adopts children from another country and another who thinks that if his daughters were to make a mistake he would not want them “…..to be punished with a baby” and therefore supports late term abortions. I for one have never known a baby to be punishment.
The most important criteria for me in voting for any elected official is what their position on abortion is and therefore I cannot in any way shape or form vote for Barrack Obama. I cannot condone anyone who would willingly provide funding for the murder of innocents. Regardless of what the law of the land is, God’s law is above all laws. We need someone who will fight for the children who rest in their mother’s womb.
I posted a video yesterday and today I post another which is even more graphic. I do so to drive home the point of how important it is to see that we elect a Pro Life president.

There are a few questions I have and I wish someone could answer them for me

1.Why would Catholics and Evangelicals vote for a man who is for abortion when their church leaders and their doctrines teach against such a practice?

2.Why would Jewish people vote for a man who would meet with rogue dictators without preconditions? Especially meeting with a man who vows to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.

3.Why would anyone vote for a man whose friends and associates hate America? Who are not one bit sorry for the crimes they have committed against our country and recently stepped on our flag and said he wished he could have done more to cripple America.

4.Why would anyone vote for a man who sat for twenty years in the pews of a man he calls his “spiritual mentor” only to hear this man put forth his hate of America?

5.Why would anyone vote for a man who wants to redistribute the wealth of those who work hard for their money and give it to those who have done nothing to earn it, except for having their hands out.

6.Why would anyone vote for a man who abandons his friends when the going gets tough? How much easier it would be for him to abandon America and our principles when things gets tough?

7.Why would anyone vote for a man whose own wife has said that we would have to give up some of the nicer things in life for the good of others, then turn around and enjoy a $450.00 lunch? Some sacrifice!

8.Why would anyone vote for a man who refuses to answer questions as to his judgement when it comes to the questionable characters he has chosen to associate with.

9.Why would anyone vote for a man whose positions on any one issue will vary from one day to the next? Depending on which way the wind blows.

10.Why would anyone vote for a man whose campaign has given over $800,000 to a corrupt organization like ACORN and then deny that he has?

To say that voting for this man is great for the country because it represents change or because it would be historical is rather lame. I prefer someone I could trust and this man is not the one.

Today, my wife and I volunteered to stand with others in front of an abortion clinic and not only show our support for Life but to also pray for those entering the clinic. This was our first experience as we have been very moved by the videos that I have shared with you recently.

We hadn’t been there five minutes and a lady in her forties approached my wife with tears in her eyes and said that she had an abortion when she was fifteen years old and to this very day she has never ceased in thinking about what she did and how she regretted that decision.

It is so sad that she has had this experience and it makes you wonder how many others have gone through the same thing. It also made me think of something else, while we were standing right in front of the clinic I realized that just about fifty feet away, behind those doors, lives were being taken. You cannot imagine the chill and the goosebumps I felt throughout my body.

Then I thought of the man who wants to be president whose mother chose to keep and because of her unselfish act he is where he is today, running for the most powerful office in the land. How then, could this man have such a stone cold heart that he would support and condone the murder of innocent lives?

This does not make a bit of sense to me. May God have mercy on his soul as well as all who support this holocaust!

Here is a creative approach to redistribution of wealth as offered in a local newspaper…

Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read “Vote Obama, I need the money.” I laughed.

Once in the restaurant my server had on a “Obama 08″ tie, again I laughed as he had given away his political preference–just imagine the coincidence.

When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need–the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.

I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I’ve decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.

At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved money more.

I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.

I am sure all of you have already read, heard or seen on television the uproar over Sarah Palin’s wardrobe. They, the liberal media have nothing better to do than to continue bashing Gov. Palin. It is as though she and the RNC had committed the crime of the century.

My take on this is that they are just so jealous of someone who is articulate, brilliant and beautiful from the inside out. They cannot stand the fact that she is comfortable with who she is. They abhor the fact that she is God Fearing,believes in life, marriage and family. The fact that the RNC has dressed her up to enhance her natural beauty drives them nuts.

Look at the facts. Take for example Hillary Clinton, $400.00 hairdo, $1600.00 pant suits and enough spackling on her face to seal every crack in a house and she is still ugly and miserable. But then who wouldn’t be, married to Slick Willie. Then there is Nancy Pelosi who still looks like the “Wicked Witch of the West” even after after all the make up artists have applied their talents to that evil face. Another example would be Katie Couric who has gone so far as to try and copy Sarah’s hair style but to no avail as she still has the looks and personality of a “wet mop”.

I could go on and on but you get the point. As I have followed this election and other political events, one thing that amazes me is just how miserable and whiny liberals are. But they are God’s children too and all we can do is pray for these poor pathetic souls.

Peter Jennings of ABC News suggested that maybe Colin Powell was a GOP Uncle Tom and asked him, “Do you ever feel that maybe this is the professional wing of the party trying to use you?”

TransAfrica founder, Randall Robinson said of Powell that he is, “the most powerful and damaging black to rise to influence in the world in my lifetime.”

In The Black Commentator, Powell was called the “The Gangster of Haiti.”

It just boggles my mind that if you are black and conservative then the Liberal Press and their political allies think that you are an Uncle Tom or as they called Condaleeza Rice, Aunt Jemimah.

Julian Bond, President of the NAACP went so far to say about Ms. Rice that she was “the purest expression of a race traitor. No polite description is possible.”

Look how they have trashed Justice Clarence Thomas.

part of the messiah’s flock and all his sins are forgiven him. What double standards!
