is because they are desperate for a viable solution. They would love to have his guidance so they could make at least some improvement before the election.

I'm not surprised by John's reply. Here in Minnesota, we watched Tim Pawlenty mercilessly toy with Speaker Maggie Kelliher & Senate Majority Leader Pogemiller.

TPaw played grand masters chess. They played beginners' checkers. It won't be any different with John Kasich. He's the smartest, most accomplished candidate in that rase. It really isn't close, either.

Kasich's a politician. No way would a Wall Street firm bet the farm based on political expertise.

Bob Rubin's an economic advisor. He was paid over $100 million for his economic judgment and influence. FAIL.

and taxes, and things that the voters need to know? Pardon me if I'm going off the reservation here, but are Dems even allowed to ask candidates questions about what the candidate might have done in his life previous to seeking nomination to high office?

They ARE?

Well, color me gobsmacked.......

and have no problem with his making $100,000 per DAY while working at a hedge fund. Ref: NYT

Ohio is a funny state to watch from the outside. As I recall, they had a corrupt R governor and that led to a D takeover, then the Dems outdid him when it came to engaging in corruption.

Maybe Kasich could use this from Major Garret on Twitter:
"Geithner, asked by Sen. Vitter, if Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac contributed to financial crisis, sez "Absolutely."
