The finish line is in sight, fight, the man in front just cant break away

Victory is in sight, it needs a hard fight

The finish line is in sight, look inside, find that extra strength and make a dash for it. This election is ours to win. If you need some boosters here is what I grabbed from some posts on MSNBC, yeah one of those so blatantly in Obama’s pocket.

IBD/TIPP Tracking Poll: “Day Eleven”

Most accurate pollster in 2004 election shows:
Obama 44.8%, McCain 43.7%, Not Sure 11.6%…

((About IBD/TIPP: An analysis of Final Certified Results for the 2004 election showed IBD’s polling partner, TIPP, was the most accurate pollster of the campaign season.))

McCain has cut into Obama’s lead for a second day and is now just 1.1 points behind. The spread was 3.7 Wednesday and 6.0 Tuesday. The Republican is making headway with middle- and working- class voters, and has surged 10 points in two days among those earning between $30,000 and $75,000. He has also gone from an 11-point de?cit to a 9-point lead among Catholics.

And here is another one:-
All the money, all the endorsements, all of the media in his back pocket, all the world events turning his way, and the race is close.

Obama is not the one.
Keep fighting, fight with John, fight for John

Why not Jeremiah Wright?

20 years to leave a Church filled with hatred

Why will John McCain not bring Jeremiah Wright into the picture. This is clearly an issue about poor judgement and Political convenience. Obama and the whole Main (left) stream media claim that Obama left the Church when he heard about Wright’s extreme hatred rhetoric, when now, when running for the President’s office.

Here’s the question(s):-
Did it take Obama 20 years to realize that he needed to leave this Church?
Did he need 7 years from 9-11 to know where his pastor stood on 9-11?
Did he ever have the courage to stand up and confront his pastor about the extreme hatred being preached?

This is a matter of absolutely poor judgement and John McCain and Sarah Palin should be hitting him with it. If someone has access to the McCain camp, please tell them?

The Obama Bubble and the Come back kid, McCain

The real voter situation

So get this,
Poll after poll hammers McCain, some as outrageously as a 12 points difference.
Within a few minutes of the second debate being over, the left wing pundits on ABC, CNN already have a decision, ‘that one’ wins. And how about David Gergen on CNN, the man has lost his credibility, almost looks like he is on Obama’s payroll. And then…….blah, a whole lot of bullshit.
Its time to concentrate on what we do and what we do best. We believe in the value of life, we believe that marriage is a sacred bond between a man and a woman, we believe in fiscal responsibility, we dont believe in taxing and spending but most of all we know that on election day we get out there and vote. Not picked up from a soup kitchen, not picked up from the street to be registered and voted by.
So, while everthing seems stacked against John McCain and Sarah Palin, only the fool will write off that come back kid. And only a bigger fool will write off the fire also known as Sarah Palin. In an election, 20+ days is a long way to go.
So for the next few days, lets step out and spread the word, quietly and surely, so that when the big stick falls on Nov 4th, there will be just one man standing, John McCain.
For now let the Democrats enjoy their bubble. Let their Senators and Congress men and women, say this election is a done deal. Let the pollsters do their science and let the annointed one dream of being just one state away from the Presidency. Perfect, what more do we need, the underdogs just as we would have it. Let John and Sarah do what they do best, lets step out and do our little bit. A word, a poster, a registration, an early vote, a little ad that fires across the internet, a home made video that burns the wires across you tube. Yes my friends, like the last quarter of a game, lagging behind but the result still open lets take our destiny in our own hands. Another few days to do our bit, and maybe we will know for sure we are definitely on God’s side and in that White house.

SARAH PALIN (VP 2008-2012; PRESIDENT 2012-2020)

McCain-Palin from here to Victory

If you are like me, by now, tired of reading the petty headlines, crazy polls and shameful banter of the Liberal, Socialist press then grab a beer, get a chair and settle down this evening to see Sarah kick ass. Here is a star, not just for today, not just for this election but for the next 12 years. This is the young bright future of the Conservative base. This is the spirit, the voice and the charm that will carry us thru for the next 12 years. This is the storm that will sweep, the leftists, the Socialists and the liberals, away from the path that they think they have already conquered.

I read at the start of this election campaign, a few months back, how scores and scores of young republicans had lost hope. In one single stroke, John McCain changed all that, the current, welcomed the future on to the big stage. I read accounts of young republicans sitting on the sidelines, grabbing their banners and joining this fight. I read of the true Conservative base that does not need organized buses to be made to vote. It’s the spirit of the Right that makes each vote count.

Shamefully, the American press has a single minded agenda, to put the Left in office. While the rest of the world laughs, the headlines reads, ‘John McCain cannot use a Computer’, ‘Sarah Palin does not read the papers’, blah, blah. Put all these headlines in a row and see the effect, pathetic might be the word. And also, shamefully, every time the left launches a new stupid wave of attack, faithfully the conservatives allow them to get under their skin. Some of the blogs here itself reeked of desperation. I even read one asking why were we not playing the race card. And somebody, please tell those republicans asking her to do the supposedly right thing and quit, SHUT UP. If not for anything, at least for the sake of the unborn, for whom this President and this VP will change the course of history, SHUT UP.

Here is as I see it:-
• Today, Sarah Palin will bash them, not just Biden, he is just the poor messenger, there to take the hit.
• Today she will talk to America, a free spirit talking to a free country. A middle class mom, to the millions of middle class who will decide this election
• Tomorrow and in the days ahead, she will come out swinging, not the shaky, shackled, show cased VP nominee, but the true Sarah Palin.

For those depressed by the polls, take a look at Gallup today, its already just a 4 point lead. John McCain still leads in the independent count. The 30+ days is a very long time in an election. Look at the nominee whose Primary campaign was once broke who is now giving the anointed one such a tough run. This is our election to win. This is our moment to just believe that we are still the future. This is our moment to define that America is not Socialist and the left don’t rule this land.

So tonight, raise one for Sarah, celebrate the night for what will be two black eyes for Biden and then for the next 30 days, gird up your loins and fight. This victory will be Oh so sweet.

Sarah is Shrill says Harry Reid

Star Sarah decimates Harry Reid

She came, she saw and she has conquered. After a week of one sided attacks about a 22 yr old DUI against her husband, an almost pathetic campaign against her 17 year old and a host of flimsy issues, she came out swinging. Today what we saw was not just a woman described by her beauty or the novelty she brought with her, we saw the real substance of that woman who is here to challenge those boys on the other side. After days and days of whether she was vetted, whether she was fit for VP, she answered with a response as they said, ‘she hit it out of the park’. And after millions and millions of Mom’s who have worked and supported their families, they questioned whether a Mom who chose to give birth to and cherish a baby who the Democrats would have happily slaughtered in the womb, was fit to handle the job? As Rudy Guiliani said, “How dare they question……..?”.

The Polls may say a different story, but after the Country has seen the Real Action Sarah, there will be a new morning. Not one painted by the Liberal media though unimportant issues, but one who presented herself to the country through her own words, through her own personality backed solidly by a solid record. Today the Democrats have seen the real McCain-Palin ticket.

And then Harry Reid said she was ‘Shrill’. Unbelievable and apalling. He had nothing to say on the issues. I guess it just got to him. It just got to him that a new very powerful woman on the National scene in 7 short days got everyone talking, what he in years could not do. I guess thats how they knocked out their own powerful woman candidate. The big Dem boys and their club suddenly must be wondering what if, and why not a Hillary VP after winning the popular vote. Unfortunately for Harry Reid, she is coming to Washington. And as she said, she is isnt coming to please them and get their good opinion, she is coming to shake up Washington.

Whatever happens in the next few weeks, tonight lets say, three Cheers for President John McCain and the Star VP, Sarah Palin.

Believe in yourselves, Republicans, start thinking like winners

Delusional Democrats

One of the great posts that I have read in a while is this one posted by ‘LegalConservative’ on this site

http://www.redstate.com/diaries/legalconservative/2008/aug/14/why-election-wont-be-so-bad-for-republicans/

We just have to start thinking and believing like winners. If after all the hype and the money, Obama still cant pull away then there is something really so wrong with the wet behing the ears senator.

Lets start believing in ourselves and get out there and rally the faithful. Lets change the ‘Its Obama’s to lose’ to ‘Its John McCain’s to win’.

A pro choice VP- McCain must be Nuts

Just when we were rallying up

Maybe I don’t understand what message John McCain is trying to send out. Is it just feelers to see how the party would react? Is it to see how the Independents would react? Is it targetted to the Hillary supporters or does he really mean it.
As a conservative I dont understand this. Why would John McCain even go there? Just when every liberal media was beginning to acknowledge that the the faithful were beginnning to rally behind McCain, just when it seemed the Polls were going to tip the other way, just when Obama’s inexperience, from a vacation, in Hawaii was showing on the Georgia conflict, comes along this zinger.
To me and to many other conservatives, I’m sure its not just about winning the election. Even if it means attracting the independents and the Hillary democrats, it is totally unacceptable wavering on core values of what define conservatives.
This is already a tough election and McCain is lucky, the polls have been so close. From here on its a question of how to deliver the knock out punches and condemn Obama to defeat, John McCain comes up something so suicidal.
If a hardcore conservative like me, suddenly doubted McCain then how would he rally the party faithful, the key ones who would ensure victory in November.

Why the lag or why the same lead

Polls stuck where they are

For the last few weeks, the Polls have been stuck where they are. Inspite of the Celebrity tour of the World, Obama’s lead has stayed where it is or rather, it has shrunk.
However, while we gloat over that fact, Sen. John McCain has not taken the lead either. In a way this is nice, as it keeps it close and keeps our candidate with the Under Dog status.
Where will this go? I know none of us have a Crystal Ball but once the VP picks are out, it will be all gloves off. I find a mental block and increasingly among a lot of people, that we are not just the underdogs this time but have forgotten to think as Winners. We are waiting for Obama to lose. I for one am waiting for the when the Maverick John McCain, will use his own originality and strike out as never before.

From CNN – Why White House race is a close call

McCain likeable and fighting close

This is an excellent article if you have not already read it. Why McCain is in with such a strong chance despite all the economic factors leading up this race and the fact that a Democratic candidate had raised so much money, got the over-attention, yet cant break away in the polls.

Read this:-

http://edition.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/07/31/mann.mccain/index.html

I especially like the last two lines of the article, “A lot of Americans simply like John McCain and aren’t ready to back Obama.

Is that enough to get a man elected president? It might be.”

Lets make that might be into will be. Talk to a friend, talk to anybody, get the movement going.

Time for Unity and a single combined force

Unity

We stand at a unique moment in history and I will say it many times over. If you are conservative, no matter what, Mormon, Evangelical, Catholic or whatever, then what does it matter who the VP is. It would plain suicide for all Conservatives, if the choice of a VP would make some not vote. At the end of the day any choice, whoever it is, will have his or her detractors. Does this mean, you will stay away and let the Democrats take the White house.

Just for the simple fact, that John McCain will have the oppurtunity to appoint two conservative judges to the US Supreme Court Bench should be enough to get everyone on Board. As a Canadian I say, for the greatest Country in the World to be headed by a Conservative bench and the benefits that would flow from it, would be the greatest thing that could happen to the Conservative movement and the faith.

I read a few articles of some prominent evangelical leaders warning if Mitt Romney is the running mate then their troops will abondon the Republican ticket. Come on, if you are in doubt, look for a hundred reasons beside that and come out and vote.

We are less than 100 days away, start a movement that will bring out every Conservative energized enough to put John McCain in office.

Still very close

The Poll bounce

Saw the buzz and the excitement today as the new Poll numbers for the first time put John McCain ahead among registered voters. The big question in my mind is why, as I just saw on another post here write ‘the race is still very close’.
Are we taking the defeatist attitude. Its almost as is we are falling for the liberal press tactic of declaring Obama the winner already.
We need to go on the offensive, this election is wide open and John McCain coming out swinging, its Republican time again.
Pull out of your shells, we got a fight on our hands, lets bring Karl Rove back.

Media, Obama and neglect

Its for John McCain

Over the last few days, and specially with Obama’s very presidential trip overseas, its been all Obama. Who cares? The acutal neglect and then the talk of the neglect has been so highlighted.
I am so thrilled that McCain has gone about it quietly and steadily. Had a bit of nice bounce in the polls and then went back to hitting Obama. So why the very reactionary talk.
Almost everytime McCain has hit the news is with some criticism of Obama. Indirectly it all plays into Obama’s side. So why cant John McCain, be original. Iraq, is the only thing the press seems to highlight about McCain. Here is a golden chance, for John while, Mr. Love tours and charms the world, to lay down his own right on the economy, energy and so many vital things the people actually want to hear about.

A Canadian for John McCain

Just joining in

Hello all,

I am a Canadian and a Catholic Christian. I came to Canada in a few years back and have followed American Politics very closely over the last few years. Since George Bush came to office I have been a fanatical follower of the Republicans / Conservatives.

This year I have followed John McCain with deep interest and Obama with a deep rage. I am at the moment also disgusted with so many American Christians, American Catholics, American Evangelicals and so many Republicans themselves. Today we stand on a dangerous turn of history where liberals/Democrats and all those with Secularism as their religion are ready to put into the office of the most powerful man in the world, a man who will take away everything that we conservatives stand for. Sadly, at a time when we need to forget our differences and stand together and as we have done in the past, put our man in the White house, we stand and bicker about his level of conservatism.

I hope to reach so many thru the blog from across the border to the North. Do come back over the next few months and hopefully having worked together we will see John McCain elected in November.
