Satanists are Pro-Choice, If You Didn't Know

The desire to announce that whichever cause we hold dear firmly places us on the “right side of history” is strong. To point out to others that present actions might be seen by future generations as the “right” thing adds an extra layer of proof to our pronouncements. Even in conservative circles, there is much debate and changing of positions on a variety of topics. I have my own opinions like the rest of us, but on some topics, my feet will never move. One in particular outranks the rest in terms of importance. This is the defense of life and protest of abortion.

Last Saturday, August 22, thousands of people nationwide protested Planned Parenthood, the women’s “health” organization whose practices have been exposed in recent weeks by the brave people at The Center for Medical Progress. Though PP employees have been filmed pushing little severed body parts around Tupperware containers, they maintain healthcare is their priority. However, their practice of extinguishing life is nothing short of evil.

As reported:

Thousands of antiabortion activists descended upon Planned Parenthood clinics on Saturday to participate in a nationwide protest aimed at cutting off federal funding for the controversial health-care organization.

The demonstrations unfolded at about 320 clinics around the nation, according to organizers

Even the reporting of such a thing above by The Washington Post is tailored to describe pro-lifers as “anti-abortion” and the murder mill – where abortions occur daily – as just a “controversial health-care organization”. Oh, how the media has rationalized their role.

In the midst of the protests, counter-protests occurred. One caught my attention more than others. Apparently, Satanists aren’t fans of unborn life, but this isn’t surprising. Since many pro-lifers, including myself, credit God with being the author of life, it’s no wonder those who aren’t just anti-organized religion, but anti-God, would rebel against such a thing.

As reported in The Washington Examiner, The Satanic Temple of Detroit:

…launched a counter-protest against pro-lifers outside the Detriot and Ferndale, Michigan Planned Parenthood locations Saturday.

Clad in black robes, members of the Satanic Temple of Detriot drenched bound women with milk, simulating water-boarding to “illustrate the theocratic agenda imposed upon female bodies.” The milk symbolized breast milk, one of the protest organizers explained on Facebook.

The group attached a symbol of their temple to the American flag and held up a sign that read, “America is not a theocracy. End forced motherhood.”

They dare to claim “forced motherhood”, yet even the Guttmacher Institute, unashamedly associated with Planned Parenthood, is clear on the majority of circumstances leading to abortion. Overwhelmingly, these reasons are purely selfish and are known to the woman before intimacy occurred. Forced? I don’t think so.

But more than that, the Temple (heh) group chooses to worship at the altar of lies and death, not in an attempt to support women’s health, but to thumb their noses at that which they long to spit their hate at the most. God.

“The Satanic Temple strongly opposes the promotion of misinformation and believes that all people are entitled to make informed decisions about their health, family and future without coercion,” says the group’s web site. “We consider our action a form of worship; the rejection of tyranny is an affirmation of selfhood. So long as perverted theocratic systems of power attempt to manipulate our communities and distort truths for political gain, we will rebel.”

When I think of misinformation, I think of the many media outlets which refuse to share the taped horror, because it doesn’t fit their agenda. When I think of misinformation, I think of the PP employees who tell the swollen-bellied mom-almost-to-be that the life inside her is nothing but a mass of goo. And when I think of misinformation, I think of the milk-pouring Satanists whose goal is only for destruction, and “…we wrestle not against flesh and blood” comes to mind.

My first thought when I heard of this stunt in response to those who support life? When you’re opposite the Satan worshippers and those who drill into babies skulls for profit, you know – without a doubt – that you’re on the right side.
