McCain-Coburn 2008

Help write the slogan

One of the RedState contributors came up with a great out-of-nowhere pick for Senator McCain to add to the ticket: Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn. Yes, please. Only problem – what sort of slogan could they run on together? Here’s a couple that got tossed around over email:

McCain-Coburn 2008
Dark Horse? No, The one You Road In On.

McCain-Coburn 2008
100% Ted Stevens-free

McCain-Coburn 2008
We Could Give A Crap

McCain-Coburn 2008
“They like me, they really like me.”
“John, why do you care?”

McCain-Coburn 2008
Honor. Duty. Ornery.

McCain-Coburn 2008
Slightly More Pleasant To Work With Than A Colonoscopy.
Slightly.

“Except for the military, we’ll shut down the entire government for 8 years”

“They pork more by 9am than we have our entire careers.”

“We’re not bringing home the bacon, we’re frying the porkers!”

      “POW and the Doc”

We need Coburn right where he is.

In fact, I’d love if he were to get this excited about Judges the way he does about money.

We might have a true majority leader in the works.

Oh Please Sen. McCain, do pick Coburn! I promise I’ll quit talking bad about you if you do.

This could also work for Fred Thompson.

Too bad he promised to leave after two terms, but he still has a few years left! Make the most of them!

Not to be a wet blanket but who’s gonna take his place in the Senate? Veto’s no good with veto proof majorities in both houses. He’s been extremely valuable stymying the Dems in the Senate.
