Should conservatives & tea partyers stand for any principles?

I read & hear from republicans, even conservatives who have an axe to grind…. it is time to fall behind Romney!  Similar to the argument we heard during the GW Bush days - you cannot go against a sitting republican president even when he pushed this country to a fiscal hole!  Now the same people complain about Bush’s liberal policies!

Do we have to support republicans (Romney & other elected republicans) irrespective of any position they take?  Do we have to abandon all our positions —or should conservative stick to some principles?  The republicans want to be elected (including Romney) just because they are republicans & not democrats!

We all remember fondly  ”contract with America” & a speaker with a conservative vision & action plan”….all we got now are Boehner, McConnell, Romney … stand for nothing people.

Conservatives & Tea partyers, … welcome to the republican party of Romney, Bohener & McConnell!  Your vote is important to us!  Your ideas, however, are not welcome!

    Every time you feel neglected because Mitt Romney is about to win the GOP nomination, feel free to climb on up.

    I am so tired of this weepy BS. You think we all didn’t want a more conservative presidential candidate? Of course we did…but we also don’t want a Soviet-era style socialist to destroy the country we love.

    Quit lamenting about no one paying attention to you and get into the fight. There is more at stake here than your “principles”…and with all due respect, if those so-called “principles” dictate handing the keys to the silos to Obama for another 4 years, then I submit that you are bereft of the principles that matter.

    I’m tired of the Romney-bots trying to convince everyone he’s already won.

    When you have your primary or caucus, vote for ANYONE BUT MITT. We still have time to prevent him from getting the 1144 delegates he needs to win on the first ballot. Then we can have a brokered convention and get a REAL CONSERVATIVE nominated!

    Amen. There was PLENTY to dislike about Bush43, but for all the out of control spending, the questionable call to war and all the rest, we can thank him for two very big things: John Roberts and Samuel Alito. Think of those two the next time someone wants to cast a protest vote on principle, causing the Republican to lose.

    I’m sure Ron Paul won’t run as an independent but that is precisely the kind of move that could get us four more years of the current Komissar-in-Chief.

    The trick is to Not Stop after November/2012. It’s gonna take time and effort. Eyes at 90 Degrees,lock your neck, and the Goal is expanding our personal freedoms.
