A thought on why the administration is picking a fight with Israel

Sorry for this short Diary but I would like to hear the thoughts of others.

The Obama administration has gone out of its way to insult and pick on Israel. There have never in the past been any problem with building homes in Jerusalem, and the shabby treatment of Netanyahu went beyond the contempt which Obama normally bestows on our allies.

I had to ask myself why they are doing this now, knowing that they have a reason for everything they do.

Here is my thought. They know that very soon Israel will have to strike against Iran, Iran continues to build a bomb and it is certain that Obama will do nothing about it.

Therefore Obama is laying the groundwork, by picking fights, to be able to disavow and disapprove of what Israel does in it’s on self defense.

Obama is like the kid at the zoo taunting the tiger.

Obama is doing everything he can to piss off Netanyahu.
Is is trying to tear down Netanyahu and his government.
Obama thinks that if he keeps it up then Netanyahu will slip-up
some how and then the people of Israel will start questioning THEIR leadership…..

My advice for Netanyahu when Obama calls again – don’t answer…..
And I would not allow any US official into Israel until the Obama administration is out of power……

      Obama wants Livni in coalition

      http://www.jpost.com/Israel/Article.aspx?id=171259

At a Kadima rally in the North on Tuesday night, Livni accused Netanyahu of ?weakening Jerusalem? by ?acting stupidly.?

?Had the opposition acted in a statesmanlike manner, Israel would not be under such international pressure,? Elkin said. ?Israel is a democracy, and only its citizens will decide what our coalition will look like.?

Representatives of the parties in Netanyahu?s coalition took offense to Goldberg?s characterization of them as ?gangsters (Israel Beiteinu), messianists (Habayit Hayehudi) and medievalists (Shas and United Torah Judaism).?

Israel Beiteinu MK David Rotem said Obama should ?check how many gangsters he has in his own government.?

He called the prospect of Kadima replacing Israel Beiteinu in the coalition ?wishful thinking on the part of the reporter.?

?With all his problems, Obama should be too busy to run our government,? Rotem said.

A Shas official noted Goldberg?s Jewish name and said that ?even in Medieval times, Jews were their own worst enemies.?

Since I’m one of the kind, sedate, relaxed, run-of-the-mill Eeeeevil Jooooooooooos y’all have come to know and (maybe) love……… I’d do the following:

Immediately get it into the media – at least the ones that are still listening – that it’s The American Government as currently seated that’s the problem – not the American people.

    If I was Bibi…………..

The American administration, under the direction of Barack Hussein Obama has an unstated embargo in place for the supply of arms, munitions and other items to Israel. Show the proof….. every single major thing set up for Israel to purchase and/or receive as aid since this administration took office seized power has been canceled and/or blocked.

    2. The current President of The United States has twice now refused to have as much as one photograph taken with the Prime Minister of Israel, a sovereign nation, However, this same President of The United States, Barack Hussein Obama, has bowed multiple times to multiple Muslim heads of state in full view of the world.

    3. The current American Secretary Of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton, seems to think Jerusalem is hers to divide and maybe even conquer. No. It is not, Ma’am. Not hardly. Jerusalem happens to be Israel’s capitol city and will stay that way.

    4. One of the myriad of entries in the collection of sworn enemies of Israel and the Jewish people is Hamas….. who has in their charter of governance the stated goal of the destruction of Israel and the Jewish people. The current President of The United States has seen fit to deliver close to one billion dollars of his nation’s money to “Gaza”, which is 100% controlled by Hamas, along with tens of millions of dollars to relocate a quite large number of ‘Gaza residents’ to The United States.

These things and much more have led us to the following decision:

We, the sovereign State of Israel hereby declare the current governing administration of The United States as an enemy of The State of Israel.

All official representatives of The United States Government are to depart Israel within ninety-six hours, or be subject to deportation.

The almost $4 Billion in aid sent annually……. Burn it, then stick it up the wazoo’s of the 78% of American Jews who voted for this turn of events to occur….. We ‘hope’ that ‘change’ makes them happy.

As far as Iran goes……. Don’t try and stop us. We’re not going to do anything until we know for sure they’ve built a bomb (or worse, received one of more from their friends around the world)…… But don’t try and stop us….. Just don’t. Same holds for Syria, Lebanon, Turkey and the rest of the peace-loving lunatics.

And in closing…… To the 22% who knew before they knew……… God has your back…… Don’t worry…….. We win……. They lose.

    Gee…… Did I go a tad too far ?

Obama had a list of demands that Bibi was to agree to. Bibi came with charts and the like trying to prove to the idiot that the announcement of building the apartment building was not out of the ordinary, or meant to provoke the puke Biden, the incompetent H. Clinton, or the US.

When the great strong leader Bibi refused to fold to the Idiots demands, the Idiot got up, told Bibi and his crew that he was going to have his dinner. He told Bibi he could stay in the WH, and, if he had anything new, they could call him. Bibi and his people didn’t trust the phones in the WH, and, left and went to the Israel Embassy to use the phones.

The Israelies are angry with Bibi because he allowed Obama to humiliate him and the Israeli people. They didn’t want him to come to the US to begin with, because of the deteriorating relationship, particularly with Biden and Clinton’s inflamatory statements against Israel. The Israelies now consider the US their enemy. And, it only took 14 months or so to destroy a solid relationship with one of our greatest allies.

I saw that London Times article linked on Pam Geller’s site (Atlas Shrugs).

When I read it, I had Fox News on……..with some pap piece about nothing………. between the article and that……… I kind of blew up…. a little……. sort of……here at the house, not in public or on a forum……..Put it this way: I probably need a new TV in my bedroom.

I want to comment on that lovely little meeting, but every time I try, all I hear is “…….can and will be used against you in a court of law…….”

and, they should start selling some kind of cages to put around TV’s to prevent destruction from flying shoes and other things. I have literally taken to slapping faces on my TV. It hurts my hand, but saves me from supporting China, or where ever TV’s are made.

If I had an email address for someone in the Israel government, I would send a message that I support them, as well as millions of other Americans. I would let them know that we have as many problems with our Federal Government as they do. I would tell them to please be patient for a little while, we will be replacing the anti-semite, Marxists in November.

I just hope that Israel realizes that the majority of Americans support them, and that we don’t support the current “mis-”administration.

  • chbroussard

This president has managed to insult just about every one of the diminishing list of friends we have in this world. He insults our friends and kisses up to people who would destroy us. I have never understood why the majority of the Jewish population in the United States are Democrats. If anyone can answer that question for me, I’d appreciate it. But this may just turn that tide. It is truly a sad day for the relationship between the U.S. and our friends in Israel.

As a group, Jews have been pro-union, pro-redistribution, pro-government interference.

Whether this stems from the early poverty of Jewish Americans or something deeper can be debated: I suspect classic liberal guilt about being rich and successful could be involved, along with a tradition of being a member of group rather than an independent individual.

That left-wing Jews now experience “cognitive dissonance” between their liberalism and the new turn toward anti-Israeli policies of the non-Jewish Left is something fairly new, which they have not yet resolved.

The inertia and tradition of the past can be difficult to overturn: whether Jews will forsake the Left “simply” because of pro-Arab/anti-Israel foreign policies remains to be seen.

nothing will be. It is surely a confusing state of affairs when Christians seem to be more pro-Israel than Jews.

Obama To Begin Disarming United States Nuclear Capability April 8th.

How can I say that ?

    Easy.

#1. He said he was going to do just that.

#2. To this day, there are still zero details available on the treaty from the most transparent administration in history.

WASHINGTON (AP) – Obama, Russian president to sign nuclear treaty in Prague on April 8.

I do think Obama’s action/inaction is related to an anti-Israeli stand. Now whether it is driven by sympathy to the Islamic countries or not, the experts will have to tell me. But if he is seen as being negative with Israel now, he is setting the framework for further distancing himself/U.S. from any support, assistance, or intervention if a crisis erupts involving Israel.
