An ACORN is an ACORN (even if its shaped like a cashew)

Last week, we reported to you that the ACORN tree has allegedly fallen and the little nuts were scattering.  However, we also warned not to crack the bubbly just yet.

Well, turns out we were right.

Matthew Vadum over at Breitbart’s Big Journalism has posted this interesting little piece about ACORN’s effort to re-brand itself into other nutty groups.

Even if you take all of the nuts out of the tree and scatter them around, the problem is you’ve just planted a whole lot of nutty trees.

    While saying to myself – yeah right, they’re just rebranding. And just like when Packard Bell became eMachine, you got the same old piece of crap.

    It’s not like a single ounce of curiosity on the part of the Partisan Media would not instantly reveal this either. They’re just hoping conservatives get lulled into inaction.

        I’m sure that they wouldn’t come here because they have bigger support about 25 miles to the south in Houston. No love for ACORN or now the Texas Organizing Project up here.

    acorn scrapes together the scum of the earth and gets them to vote. that’s what they do and it’s an abomination before Him. these are people who are criminals (murderers, rapists, shoplifters, fraudsters, pimps, prostitutes, drug dealers, sodomites) or else they are godless people that God has seen fit to punish (who are we to ask why?). we are a nation of strong, self-sufficient christian people, and it ENRAGES me to think that these marginal individuals are being taken to the polls where they can vote in people to raise my taxes, get the government involved in my health care, take away my right to drive an suv, and stop with the drill baby drill.
