CORRECTION: Danny Glover Arrested as Andy Stern looks on…

Andy’s not quite gone yet…

CORRECTION: After posting this earlier today (see below), a the Maryland Gazette is reporting that Andy Stern was also arrested with Danny Glover.

Along with Glover, a longtime union-booster, Montgomery County police arrested SEIU President Andrew Stern, who earlier this week announced he will be stepping down from his post after 14 years, and Mitch Ackerman, SEIU’s executive vice president.

FROM EARLIER TODAY:

Just a few moments ago, the SEIU tweeted that actor-turned-union-activist Danny Glover was being arrested at a rally targeting Sodexho.

      BHO can’t afford his top advisor sitting in a cell.

      Besides, the guards are probably represented by SEIU’s arch-nemesis AFSCME, which would make Andy a bit …um…uncomfortable(?)

    Mr. Stern’s arrest comes complete with a bona fide police record.

    That makes him a shoe-in for the newly created administration position of “Forced Unionization And Compliance Czar”.
