On Tax Day, AFSCME protests for tax increases
Yesterday was Tax Day, the day when most Americans file their income tax returns and either shell out more money, or not.
There were also protests going on all over the country yesterday by people who are fed up with government’s runaway spending.
However, in Minneapolis, the recipients of the runaway spending, members of the American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees were out handing out (in typical class warfare style) ‘Tax the Rich’ fliers.
“It’s time the rich paid their fair share,” AFSCME said. “Demand fair taxes to fix the budget and invest in a better Minnesota,” the statement said.
