Labor Secretary parrots Pelosi: Unemployment benefits = economic stimulus

Birds of a feather flocking together?

You’d almost think they’re singing the same song written by the same speech song writer.

In an aol.com puff opinion piece, President Obama’s Labor Secretary Hilda Solis dropped an illogical statement about unemployment benefits:

There is no better stimulus than unemployment benefits, as this money quickly flows from those who need help into local economies. ..

Say what?!?  How about a job???

[Oh yeah. That's not working out too well, is it?]

The funny part about Solis’ statement is, that’s just what Nancy Pelosi said a couple of days ago.

[Apparently someone has sent around the I-can't-think-for-myself talking points late last week and now everyone's jumping on the same sinking ship meme.]

With the mid-term elections right around the corner, these ladies are doing all they can to put a rosy picture onto an economy that’s not creating jobs, despite the hundreds of billions blown on pork stimulus.

Ladies, what America needs is jobs. Created by the private sector.

And, the only way for that to happen is for you to get government out of the way.

Instead of singing the same song, if they really wanted to know why they are in such trouble, they could read this, but it’s unlikely they will.

You can read Solis’ sales pitch here.

Remember. November.

GOTV.

and deficit so we can redistribute wealth, punish the producers, and buy Democrat votes.

I lost my house to foreclosure on unemployment payments. That kind of “stimulus”? Sure it ‘stimulated’ us into moving and it stimulated us into taking a loss on my 401k so we could keep the utilities on.

To Pelosi and all other dimocrats:
The local economy, and by extension the national economy, is stimulated and grows when the vast majority of families has *extra* money. That comes from good paying jobs, not government hand-outs.

On the other hand, when a family suddenly has a reduced income, as when drawing unemployment checks, that family must cut back and spend less. To clarify that item for the dimocrats:
    Less money=Less spending=local economy shrinking.

One good thing though, our eyes are open now.

the words and phrases unemployment insurance payments and “stimulus.” This is why the Saudis wear eyeglasses even indoors, when they’re negotiation big oil contracts. They know, from centuries of close dealing, the singular, the person is lying about what he/she just said, when the longer eyeblinks (and pupil dilation if you’re close enough to see it) occur.

At the next stage, if they’re telling complete fabrications and not wincing or eyeblinking at all, they’ve gone psychopathic and must be dealt with accordingly.

It just won’t create jobs that will end up being filled, at least not by the best qualified people. There is already a shortage of doctors, and the nursing shortage is apparently even greater. Check out any job ads, and they are almost all seeking RNs.

We’ll soon end up where the only jobs available for almost all Americans will be providing health care.

I have no doubt 5 million green jobs can be created. …At the expense of 50 million jobs already in existence.

The Dems would rather your grandkids pay for it than the Democratic interest groups/gluttons that are gorging on the taxpayers money.
