Benishek Beats Up on Union Bullies in Brilliant Ad

Dan Benishek is a Republican candidate in Michigan. He is fighting to unseat a union-lackey that just happens to have an R after his name. This same lackey helped give the SEIU control of 40,000 home health care workers, with many of them not knowing that a political side deal was cut. The SEIU rakes in $6 million a year in dues from these workers, some of whom have now filed a class-action lawsuit against the union and Jennifer Granholm.

Benishek’s campaign is doing a money bomb to get this ad on the air.

It is a brilliant ad that more Republicans need to remember in the fall!

Unions are a special interest that have bought the Democratic entirely and many RINOs as well.  It is time to remind voters of that fact.

No quarter was asked, none was given.

2010 is America’s Thermopylae.

Remember.

November.

GOTV.

Jason Allen is, and always have been, opposed to the forced unionization of any industry.

S.B. 731 is intended establish the “Michigan Home Help Integrity Act” to protect those in need of home help workers from convicted felons and sexual predators by setting up a system for background checks.

After the introduction of this legislation, the Mackinac Center raised concerns that it could be used by the SEIU to unionize the home help workers, similar to what happened with the daycare workers in Michigan. After learning of this potential, Jason Allen held the bill in committee until they were able to amend it to make it perfectly clear that the forced unionization of the home help workers could not occur under this legislation.

As a small businessman, Jason Allen is a staunch advocate for business and has continually stood up to Granholm and the SEIU and voted against issues such as the card check and forced unionization of daycare workers in Michigan. His efforts to block this type of legislation has earned him the endorsement of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce.

I urge anyone who has an honest interest in this issue to READ THE BILL (as Benishek likes to say in his ads) as well as the Senate Fiscal Agency’s analysis of the bill.

same lame defense of Allen I see.

      One question:

Did Allen return the SEIU contribution?

      No?…didn’t think so.

As was stated to you yesterday: Do a deal with the devil, you’re going to smell like brimstone.

May this be a point to all who think they can have their cake and eat it too:

Today’s union bosses have no interest in freedom or preserving this country. Side with them, or side with the nation. It is that simple.

      Now, go away, tick.

Why do you seem to defend the undefendible? Really, your guy has a problem and now it seems that you want to call the person that pull up things a liar. I don’t think that Benishek could that much of a liar but I guess when you run a PR campaign for a guy that has problems, anyone is a liar.

    • eburke

with whom they had philisophical disagreements.

Let’s see…within 2 weeks of receiving a $2,000 contribution from the SEIU, Jason Allen had managed to write a bill which would have been a huge boon to the unions. It only took *10 months* for him to manage to craft an ammendment which undid that aspect of the bill (not tied at all, I’m sure, to the massive flack he was receiving after the Mackinac Center ‘raised concerns’ and Jason began his run for the U.S. Congress).

      Nice try but busted.

      But hey, thanks for playin’!

      take a look at this

      Allen not a Conservative

Try the other side of the looking glass: If you want, read the original version of the bill (not some goof’s story about the bill) along with the current S-3 version.

      • ettu

What? You’re still quoting for the retrashed tripe fed to you by Jen Kuznicki? Why don’t you do your own research? If you do, you will find out why the Michigan Chamber of Commerce endorses Jason Allen, not Dan Benishek (the doctor who thinks the only med-malpractice fix we need is less charting by nurses).

          1. My State Senator is Jason Allen, and I have talked to him plenty of times, He is a nice guy, however, he is no statesman, nor is he a conservative.

          2. Who are you arguing with? Jack McHugh, Michael LaFaive, the Cato Institute?

          3. The Chamber of Commerce endorsed Allen because his wife has been spending every breakfast with them for years after she worked for Sikkema.

          Grow up.

          • gekster

Why did he move to run in another district.
Wasn’t his home town good enough.

    • conservativecrusade

of the combined words ignorant idiot. Jason Allen was and always will be a pro union bum, period!

My advice to you, pull your head from your rear and try to see through the poo for once. Or at least do not try to pull our heads in with yours, if you do not mind!

The Soros Secretary of State Project is targeting Michigan this year-

Is there any chance that Jason Allen, given his history can be a plant? There are more well known R’s that have fallen for the O admin, the Transportation Secretary, former R LaHood for example. Benishek has been very popular, and has the lead in the polls, and fundraising. He must be stopped, because we all know that he will take his “Enough if Enough” message to DC.

Be careful guys, Moe stopped the conversation/debate with this bird ettu on Erick’s diary last night. as he said we were not being civil. We called this guy, and his cohorts a Tribble. He thanked Moe for the protection, and now has a renewed sense of importance. He is not worth getting banned over, even though he needs some serious correcting.
