Just days before Socialist Saturday, unions remind Americans of Obama roots
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | September 27th at 02:45 PM |
Aesop, meet Obama. Just days before Socialist Saturday (see #hashtags below), a series of union-related events are beginning to become large enough of an embarrassment to the Obama administration that they may be hard for the media to ignore any longer. With the abrupt departure of SEIU über-boss Andy Stern, the rejection (and subsequent departure) of his hand-chosen successor, Anna Burger, the President’s friends at | Read More »

A Dangerous Thing: White House Considers Using Saul Alinsky on the American People
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | September 20th at 10:08 AM |
It is one thing to castigate a political opponent as ‘extremist,’ yet quite another for politicians to try to paint the American people as such. Yet, the New York Times [h/t Drudge] has a report that President Obama’s political advisors (which would presumably include SEIU boss-turned White House Political Director Patrick Gaspard) are telegraphing that they may use Saul Alisnky’s tactics to attack the GOP | Read More »
Is the SEIU playing the race card in Arkansas run off?
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | June 5th at 09:11 AM |
Presumably, President Obama still supports Sen. Blanche Lincoln over her runoff opponent, SEIU-backed Lt. Governor Bill Halter. However, with Tuesday’s Democratic runoff election going down to the wire, it’s becoming harder to tell. Given the close ties between the SEIU and the White House, it’s hard to imagine the White House doesn’t know that the SEIU is using President Obama’s picture alongside Bill Halter’s on | Read More »
Is Blago blowback the reason why SEIU’s Andy Stern resigned?
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | April 22nd at 06:21 PM |
Geez! The never-ending story of fallen-from-grace governor Rod Blagojevich seems to be…well…never-ending. You may recall, Blago was the Illinois governor who allegedly was trying to sell the Senate seat of president-elect Obama in 2008. Well, lo and behold, Blago’s defense attorneys subpoenaed the President today and, according to this, there could some blowback on retiring SEIU boss Andy Stern. Today in United States v. Rod | Read More »
Very Funny Video: Where Everyone Knows the Union Bosses’ Names
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | February 1st at 06:11 PM |
For those who don’t know the National Right to Work Foundation, the NRTW is an organization of tireless individuals (including attorneys) who advocate for workers who become victims of union abuse–most notably when unions violate workers’ rights regarding forced union dues. The NRTW posted this hilarious video last week that we thought we’d share with you… [Brought to you in SEIU-purple borders.] —————————– “I bring reason | Read More »
Machinists Union President Buffenbarger Blasts Obama…Again!
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | January 28th at 12:34 PM |
Among all the union bosses cutting backroom deals with the White House in 2009, one has been noticably absent and that is Tom Buffenbarger, the president of the International Association of Machinists. Buffenbarger, most-famously known for his 2008 tirade (see below) against then-candidate Obama is apparently on the White House’s growing list of enemies and, therefore, is apparently not welcome in all of the back | Read More »
Pride Goeth Before a Fall…
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | January 25th at 01:41 PM |
Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud. – Proverbs 16: 18-19 (KJV) ——————————————- Outgoing Dem-Congressman Marion Berry, as reported by Politico, has given Democrats great cause to be concerned. If his comments are true, the President’s Messiah complex appears to have worsened, | Read More »
Will Union Bosses Use Obama’s Job Summit to Push Job-Destroying Legislation?
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | November 30th at 02:17 AM |
With unemployment reaching 10.2% and likely to rise over the coming year, the Obama administration is getting desperate to show that it can reverse the rising unemployment and the President’s falling poll numbers. As Politico notes: It’s one of the oldest tricks in the presidential playbook: when you want to focus attention on an issue, hold a meeting and call it a “summit.” President Barack | Read More »
Will Unions’ Billion Dollars Buy Exemption from Obama’s Crackdown on Lobbyists?
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | November 27th at 11:20 PM |
The Obama administration is giving lobbyists the boot, according to the Washington Post, in an effort to reduce their influence in Washington. No, really. It’s not a joke. The Washington Post says it’s the case. Hundreds, if not thousands, of lobbyists are likely to be ejected from federal advisory panels as part of a little-noticed initiative by the Obama administration to curb K Street’s influence | Read More »
BUSTING the HYPOCRITES: Obama, Mama Mao, the DNC and Their Union-Busting Law Firm
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | October 25th at 08:43 PM |
Were there not have been so much attention paid to the White House Communications Director, media controller, and Maoist Anita Dunn’s worshipful comments on mass murderer (and Communist dictator) Mao Zedong, we might not have discovered this story of hidden hypocrisy and seeming conflict of interest. It seems, however, that as we looked into the Maoist media controller more, the more the hypocrisy surfaced that puts Ms. Dunn, her husband and the | Read More »
