#SOTU Recap: SSDD (Or, Something Sounded Familiar)
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | January 25th at 07:15 AM |
Listening to Barack Obama’s State of the Union Speech last night was like listening to just about every one of his SOTU speeches… Actually, with the exception of Obama’s promise to sign a law making Congressional insider trading illegal [Martha Stewart may have some resort recommendations for Nancy Pelosi], listening to Obama’s SOTU speech really was listening to his other speeches, as this RNC video | Read More »
Pelosi Backpedals on #Occupy Movement
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | January 18th at 06:30 PM |
Democrat Nancy Pelosi’s penchant for hypocritical hyperbole is once again manifesting itself. Her latest example is regarding the #Occupy movement. Just a few short months ago, before the #Occupy movement exposed itself as a bunch of entitlement-driven neo-Communist criminals, Pelosi (and other Democrats) wholly embraced the squatters’ rag-tag movement. This was Pelosi then: Despite the fact that unions are now funding, coordinating, aiding and abetting | Read More »
On Violence, Death Threats & Feces, Unions Pass Their Trade Secrets On To #OWS
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | November 9th at 08:00 AM |
On September 17th, when the #OccupyWallSt movement took over Zuccotti Park, one of New York’s finest summed it up when he said, “these are the protesters no one else wants–they’re the worst of worst.“ Since then, however, Democrats, the Obama administration and, especially, unions have all put their support behind the #OccupyMovement depsite (as noted previously) the multiple rapes, the assaults and drug dealing, open sex, public masturbation, anti-American rants, | Read More »
Repeal ObamaCare. Then, Let’s Do Something Really Radical…Try Freedom.
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | December 16th at 01:00 PM |
ObamaCare. No, it’s not dead. Not even close. Yet, with Monday’s ruling that ObamaCare’s individual mandate is unconstitutional, there is some hope on the horizon that the foray into enslaving America in a government-dictated insurance scheme may yet be repealed, outlawed, or just thrown into the ash heap of really, really bad ideas. There is so much wrong with ObamaCare that it could fill an | Read More »

Labor Secretary parrots Pelosi: Unemployment benefits = economic stimulus
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | July 4th at 04:16 PM |
Birds of a feather flocking together? You’d almost think they’re singing the same song written by the same speech song writer. In an aol.com puff opinion piece, President Obama’s Labor Secretary Hilda Solis dropped an illogical statement about unemployment benefits: There is no better stimulus than unemployment benefits, as this money quickly flows from those who need help into local economies. .. Say what?!? How | Read More »
“Cadillac Tax” Exemption: Union bosses get a deal while the rest of America gets screwed.
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | January 13th at 09:08 PM |
Apparently, the fix was in when union bosses’ met in a closed door meeting at the White House on Monday and had a follow-up meeting with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday. Unions bosses were reportedly able to get an exemption for collectively-bargained health care plans from the so-called ”cadillac tax.” According to Congress Daily: Unions tentatively struck a deal Tuesday to exempt collectively bargained healthcare plans from | Read More »
AFL-CIO Boss Implies You’re Not a ‘Real American’ Unless You Support Pelosicare
By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | October 23rd at 11:46 PM |
The AFL-CIO’s ‘narcissistic, lazy, self-indulgent’ new boss Richard Trumka held a rally yesterday afternoon at the AFL-CIO’s posh multi-million dollar headquarters and gave his typical fiery speech about health care. During the video (see below), Trumka aligned himself with today’s neo-socialists (aka “progressives”), House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and called (again) for a “robust” public option (that slippery slope to socialized medicine in three to five years). While that, in | Read More »
