I put nothing past this man. He and Congress have trashed the Constitution and there is much more to come. We have 3 weeks of hell left. He is also after the internet. Watch for that to come up and be passed before the holiday break. Is already in the works.

as you have pointed out. “If Congress can deliver a package that the Obama administration is satisfied with.” How much more clear does the message have to be that Obama will not settle for anything less than what he demands. He will get what he wants by any means, even if it destroys the country. I know you know that.

It is not about energy at all, it is about power to control the population. He unfortunately has some takers with his wind, solar, and food to fuel initiatives, unfortunately including some Republicans.

There was clearly an undertone of intent. I believe Obama intends to hold hostage drilling exploration unless and until he gets this passed. My hearing is perfect:

“We look forward to a bipartisan relationship with Congress on the energy issue. If Congress can deliver a package on energy issues the Obama administration is satisfied with, we can revisit the moratorium issues.”
