A Call to Action for Perry Supporters

I have and will always feel that Gov. Perry is the best man to lead our nation at this time. Period.

I know what I’m about to propose is a long shot. Some would say I’m beating a dead horse. Maybe I am, and maybe I’m not. But I’m willing to fight for what I believe in, and for who I believe in. In my opinion, there is no one who has the experience and character to be president other than Gov. Perry. He has a record of creating jobs that few can equal. He has been a steady warrior for our consevative values. Gov. Perry was the tea party before there was a tea party!! Not only is Gov. Perry an honorable man, his wife is also a lady of virtue and dignity, and will serve our country with those qualities alongside her husband as she has already in Texas.

We need a president with Gov. Perry’s skills. It’s been too long since we had a shot at putting a man in office with the character of Gov. Perry, and I’m not willing to give up on that chance yet.

If you feel the way I do, take action. Here are a few things that we can do now.

1. EMAIL Gov. Perry. Tell him from your heart why you feel we need him and why he should rejoin the race.

        campaign@rickperry.org

2. CALL his office and leave a message of encouragement.

  • Citizen’s Opinion Hotline [for Texas callers] :
    (800) 252-9600
  • Information and Referral and Opinion Hotline [for Austin, Texas and out-of-state callers] :
    (512) 463-1782

3. Use social media to get out the message.

4.  If you are going to CPAC next week, do your best to encourage

Gov. Perry to rejoin the race.

5. Encourage everyone to donate funds and support his campaign in any way they can.

6. Most importantly, Pray. Pray. Pray. With God all things are possible.

There is also a website dedicated to the cause of re-drafting Gov. Perry into the race.  Please check it out: http://teaandfedup.wordpress.com/

It is highly unlikely that you will get him 20 million or so in the next couple weeks, and so I would not bet on him running again this year. Maybe 4 years from now.

The horst aint just dead. It’s dead, buried, and eaten by worms.

As a former Perry supporter, I’d agree with this … “We need a president with Gov. Perry

Would have even more jumping back in.

decision to leave the race based on the same tact that he would have taken as the President. He is not going to create debt that he cannot pay back and the writing is on the wall as to how slanted and uphill his campaign would have been.

He measured the lay of the land and back the man he felt would be the best choice of the candidates left. I would have preferred to have Perry remain in the race, but willing to follow his lead and back the man he believes is best to take up the torch.

I wish we could get Perry back.

I know this is a long shot, but I’m willing to give it a try if others are!

Perry’s fundraising fell off because he was losing that “electability” question that is now finally biting at Romney.

really – Perry has to re-boot – and now that the topics are leadership and character – and Romney’s favorability and electability (thanks to Perry before Jan 19) are finally slipping in the polls, just got to be patient.

I still maintain that it was always Perry+Gingrich versus Romney+Paul.

Alas, there seems very little that a grass roots effort can accomplish in Feb-March.

We just have to wait for Perry’s tactical retreat to end when he finds the moment to reverse into tactical insurgency.

My guess is last week of March, depending on how it looks for Gingrich in the Texas primary.

I was all for Rick Perry but he ran out of money and his campaign wasn’t ready for a national race. If he had been running for years, like MItt, he would have been.
He did not want to go into debt and I do not blame him for it. I do not lke being in debt. He wouldn’t put our country further into its debt.
If Mitt is the GOP nominee, I don’t think he’ll win over Obama. I know we cannnot afford almost five more yers of Obama, he’s got almost one year left now.
I hope the GOP nominee wins, but it will not be Rick Perry.

Anyone who think Perry cannot do it is wrong. WE CAN SELL OUT OR WE CAN STAND! The Tea Party leaders have all been attacked ruthlessly by obama. Yes, they went up against the establishment and we won, but the establishment plus the liberal machine…Palin speaks out now…her family will be attacked ruthlessly again. WE the PEOPLE MUST MAKE OUR STAND…That is why Governor had to get out…we bailed off on our principles and left him holding the bag alone. Why? Because we all ran to what we have fought against!

Remember the Alamo…Remember Goliad…Gen. Sam Houston cried out to his Troops and Gen George Washington…he had a longer but very meaningful as pertaining to today as Sam Houston reminding us to remember the consequences of not being victorious.

I am not…I will not sell out my country…With ya Liberty 17…sorry did not get here sooner…but I backed off Red State as Eric bailed off on our cause and did not think any here would pick up the flag as in the movie “The Patriot” and try to turn back the troops for the victory…LET’S ROLL!

either anymore. But I will never give up on my principles. I was still voting for Gov.Perry in the primaries. John Quincy Adams said this: “Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, then you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.”
I for one stand on my principles and the four remaining candidates lack some of the principles I stand on. Some don’t have any principles as far as I am concerned.
So I will pray and keep on praying. God is still on His throne and He cares for His own.
    I’m with cimmarontrails…Let’s Roll!
