SOLVING AMERICA’S PROBLEMS?

Don’t worry, America’s future is sound and in good hands. Our Executive and Legislative branches of Government are eager to lift our nation out of economic turmoil. Have patience though since both houses of Congress were extremely overworked during the recent budget crisis and first need another vacation.

Meanwhile, our President will stay committed to economic recovery by scheduling fund-raising appearances, family vacations and golf outings. A first priority involves polishing up his teleprompter-assisted oratories for a fifteen day nationwide campaign tour of key battleground States where he can blame others for his incompetence and ineptitude. However, Americans should be relieved knowing their taxes paid for two (2) new custom armored touring buses specifically designed to keep the President and his entourage comfortable while seeking re-election.

The President will also squeeze in some work while on a $50,000 vacation in Martha’s Vineyard. Surely, he will take a few moments to make sure his wealthy friends, lobbyists and campaign supporters will still be able to contribute towards his $1,000,000,000 re-election plans after the recent stock market crash.

In spite of his broken promises and failed economic policies, plans by the President and Congress for their re-election should calm fears of those who have seen their I.R.A.’s, 401-K’s and life’s savings melt away after America’ s credit rating was lowered for the first time in history. One can only wonder how many are willling to trust Barack Obama with four more years of “changes we can believe in“?

As a retired Navy Master Chief I provide the following solutions:

    1. We must first re-define what is an American and identify our primary principals . We have so many special interest groups and minority groups, that are ripping the country apart. These groups don’t want to be Americans , they want to be there nationality and cause in America.
    2. Every piece of legislation should have to answer the question “is this good for America?”
    3. We need 100% transparency in all government goings-on, with the strictest pentalties for those officials who break laws and take self serving actions (ie-Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Jim Johnson, Franklin Raines)
    4. We need term limits on all federal and state elected officials, and eliminate appointed officials, they too should be elected by the people.
    5. We need a balnced budget amendment .
    6. We need to 100% protect our borders, this should be easy to do, just call me and I’ll give you the plan. The borders are important to keep out illegals, terrorists and threats to national health. We need to show Americans that we don’t reward illegal behavior.
    7. We need to create incentives for people to get off assistance programs, and police them to reduce abuse. With the money we lost at Fannie and Freddie Mac we could have built manufacturing plants in most economically depressed areas and start producing things we now import from China.
    8. We need to get the federal government reduced, giving back the over site to states for programs such as education, health care and business.
    9. Re-establish the “English language” as the national language.
    10. Re-structure the disability system, too many people collecting that shouldn’t, there are many people on assistance diagnosed as bi-polar , hell everyone I know is bi- polar.
    11. Set high standards and hold people accountable.
