Obama Non Grata
By: lukematthews (Diary) | March 12th at 09:03 AM |
Much ado has been made recently about the demise of the Republican Party and the growing sense in the New York/Washington bubble that Obama will be re-elected. It’s certainly possible the ?improving? jobs’ numbers and economic data could give Obama enough momentum to slide into a second term. Certainly his media advantage, his wars on conservatives, women, and the productive sector have ginned-up his base, | Read More »

Pack It Up, It’s All Over
By: lukematthews (Diary) | April 10th at 05:04 PM |
That’s right people. We can just concede defeat now. The Tea Party is officially over. The Democratic/Socialist Worker left has won. We might as well just tear down Redstate and Hotair and Gateway Pundit and Drudge. It’s official. We have lost America. Well, at least that’s what the Pew Research Group would have us think. I find this amusing. Pew, a ‘nonpartisan’ polling group, has | Read More »
Their Sleazy Strategery
By: lukematthews (Diary) | September 26th at 05:10 PM |
So it seems, the Dimbulbs are making amazing strides toward victory in the most recent polls. Apparently, if you poll mostly Democrats, a couple of Republicans, and pretend independent voters are all on life support, you’ll get a closer race. In addition to creating push/polls that ‘prove’ Dimbulbs are gaining momentum, they are beginning with the mudslinging. If you can’t win an argument, then of | Read More »
Calculating the Machine; Minnesota Skullduggery

The results of this past primary election for the DFL (Democratic Farmer-Labor) Party nomination for governor is an interesting case to examine in Minnesota politics. The last election saw a blatant disregard for the democratic process. We witnessed ballots counted twice, some areas ignored their absentee ballots and others (liberal precincts) had theirs counted. The Franken-Coleman recount was an embarrassment to the state and the far | Read More »
Strangely Unreported – MN DFL Behind the 8-Ball
By: lukematthews (Diary) | July 20th at 02:25 PM |
The current narrative excusing Obama and the Democratic Party’s poll standings is that the unemployment rate is too high. It isn’t Democrats that are persona non grata, it’s just a general feeling of discontent due to the economy. People in Minnesota are not happy with the country’s direction because of economic disasters due to GOP policies, or that’s the explanation by the far left. But, | Read More »

Insult to Injury
By: lukematthews (Diary) | August 9th at 11:43 AM |
We should really be insulted, if it turns out to be true. The Obama administration’s Labor Department released jobless data that was surprisingly not horrific. Caviar was served. Champagne flutes clinked. All was sweetness and light at the White House. The number of job losses was smaller than expected. CNBC looked into the data and doubted the numbers. It seemed inconceivable the number could be | Read More »
