The politics in Illinois is a cesspool. And it is controlled by the Democratic party. The state government is at a stalemate even with a clear majority of Dems in office! My Uncle was a precinct captain in Chicago back in the 60’s and 70’s. He was good friends with the current Mayor Daley when Daley was the State’s Attorney. My Dad told me back then that this Mayor Daley was as dumb as a box of rocks. And since he has become Mayor, he proves it every day. He gushes over the terrorist Ayers even though his Dad, the first Mayor Daley told the police back in 1968 to shoot to kill the rioters. 40 years later the son sells out. That’s the Chicago way.
