Sorry but civility is defined by the left along with everything else. We’re to accept every statement they utter as truth and if we question one part, we’re uncivil. I agree with the author on this one.

Obama needs to be challenged as does the rest of the federal government. If they want to call me uncivil for that, I, frankly, don’t care.

The problem is not a lack of civility but in who determines what is and isn’t civil by a set of rules that penalize the opposing side, us, by virtue of opposing them, not whether we did it civilly or rudely.

Obama’s fund-raising machine is still in operation. He is not going to be shy about taking his agenda to the public. Unfortunately for us, he is going to be the Democrats’ version of the “Great Communicator”.

Mark, I say this because in my experience, people who emerge from the Chicago womb with a history of making terrible mistakes and having big lapses of judgment ** never stop having them **. To me, Alex, this is about the future even more than it is the immediate politics of the early 21st century. We should not sit on our hands until Obama and Pelosi have implemented their vision, only to say: “Well, Mr. President & Madame Speaker, we respectfully disagree with you, because we’re the loyal opposition.” We should not sit on our hands while our Executive Branch is run by Chicago machine politicians. I used to hold him in high regard, until he spouted some statements awhile back that showed he had been drinking some Globa Warming koolaide. Now I keep a closer eye on him, This latest really makes him a suspect for opportunism, though.
