    I often have pointed out to my history students the dangers of not being as objective as possible.

    A great danger in politics is to believe one’s own propaganda, especially when that propaganda has little to no basis in fact.

    While nobody is immune from self-deception, it has been amusing throughout my career to watch the left-wing too often be hoisted by the petards of their own delusions.
