NY State Senate: Defection A Serious Miscalculation by Hiram Monserrate
By: Martin Knight (Diary) | June 8th at 08:07 PM |
Moe wrote about Hiram Monserrate back when the story broke about his Christmas-time attack on his girlfriend with a broken beer bottle for having another man’s business card in her purse. The woman needed 20 stitches around her eye. In reaction, the brand new incoming NY Democratic Senate Majority closed ranks around their man and one of their number, State Senator Eric Adams, went so | Read More »
Where The Votes Are, And Why We’re Not Winning Them.
By: Martin Knight (Diary) | January 27th at 12:31 PM |
NOTE: This started as a response to Fred Maidment’s comment here and ended up becoming this … so if this seems disjointed, it’s all Fred’s fault – . Where the votes are is in the “middle” – that undefined muddled plurality of the electorate that is at best marginally informed, that only really pays attention to the “issues” in the last few weeks (when its | Read More »

Squandering The Palin Pick
By: Martin Knight (Diary) | September 27th at 05:04 PM |
This might make me very unpopular, but I have to be honest, I now think McCain picking Sarah Palin for his Vice-President was a mistake … that is; if what he really was looking for in a VP was nothing more than a highly-scripted cheerleader, then picking Governor Palin was not the wisest decision; In fact, it could not just lose him the election, but | Read More »
Rathergate II: It’s not just CBS this time, it’s the entire 4th Estate.
By: Martin Knight (Diary) | September 22nd at 11:15 AM |
No matter how bad their pro-Democratic/anti-Republican bias got, the GOP and its candidates have shied away from confronting the MSM on it – after all, they own(ed) the airwaves and we would need them at some point. However, new media has made this reasoning largely obsolete, and with many crossing the line into practically campaigning in favor of Barack Obama, we cannot allow them to | Read More »
One Cheap Practical Way For The McCain/Palin Campaign To Combat Daily MSM/Obama Talking Points.
By: Martin Knight (Diary) | September 18th at 08:19 AM |
The idea: A web based daily news review show openly challenging and refuting the “facts” presented to the American people by the Obamaphile MSM. Upload each show on YouTube, LiveLeak, GoogleVideo, etc. and have downloadable versions in all audiovisual formats (mpg, mp4, avi, wmv, etc.) hosted on johnmccain.com and mirror sites. The concept is simple; for the next 40 to 50 days, selected members of | Read More »
The Obama Campaign/MSM are regaining their footing …
By: Martin Knight (Diary) | September 17th at 08:46 AM |
As a lot of people are beginning to notice, after the Palin pick sent the Obama Campaign and his cohorts in the media into spastic paroxysms of insanity and hatred, the two entities (to the extent that they’re actually two separate entities) seem to have re-established their previously smooth-running hand-in-hand relationship. Much as we don’t want to admit it, the Obama Campaign is clawing its | Read More »
The MSM is taking the “Death of a Thousand Cuts” approach on Palin.
By: Martin Knight (Diary) | September 16th at 08:40 AM |
After going crazy with spreading all sorts of deranged theories about Sarah Palin and her family (including “Trig-gate”), it looks like we are to look forward to a more sober (and perhaps, effective) approach and push back against a continuous steady dripping of deceptive articles and headlines from now on till election day from a Press Corps seeking to falsify Sarah Palin’s record in Alaska | Read More »
Sarah Palin should have her own cameraman recording the interviews with Charlie Gibson as a safeguard against creative editing.
By: Martin Knight (Diary) | September 11th at 06:58 PM |
I think Palin would do well to have her own cameraman openly recording in the room with Charlie Gibson’s crew during the remaining interviews. From what I’m seeing, there’s a lot of stuff on the cutting room floor that probably shouldn’t be there … including Gibson’s condescending attitude. Gibson would be spooked … and that’s a good thing. Because he’ll know that whatever he cuts | Read More »
Why is Sarah Palin afraid of the Press? Hmm? [UPDATE: More Videos]
By: Martin Knight (Diary) | September 9th at 11:19 AM |
Okay … so the new talking point making the rounds on the Left is that Sarah Palin is afraid of her lack of experience, knowledge, intelligence, accomplishment and basic humanity being exposed by those paragons and arbiters of honesty, courage, strength, fairness and objectivity. As evidence, they are pointing to Palin’s absence from the Sunday morning talk shows. What is she (and John McCain) afraid | Read More »
If Sarah Palin was a Democrat …
By: Martin Knight (Diary) | September 4th at 07:42 PM |
This was supposed to be posted prior to the speech yesterday, but my computer decided to crash and die on me just as I was about clicking ‘save’ …{snarl} Well … the past few days have been quite a revelation, haven’t they? John McCain (who seems to have wisened up considerably) introduced the nation to his pick for the Vice-Presidency and the media quickly set | Read More »
