Who you hire really says a lot about you and your company’s goals.

So, what does this say?

We have a highly partisan Democrat being tapped — the guy who, mind you, may have been involved in covering up Mahoney’s affair, if I recall my corruption trivia correctly.

We also have a Obama’s media relations guy as the second major announcement. Did I miss his Secretary of State or Treasurer? Maybe some names floated for judges?

What does it say about change when you hire a Washington insider and the guy who makes you look good and ensures you tell a compelling narrative before addressing important stuff?

I’m giving Obama the benefit of the doubt as President — clean slate, start from scratch. I’m hoping he’ll prove me wrong and will be great.

This? Not so great. Strike one Obama.
