Abby Johnson’s Powerful Testimony

From the diaries by Leon…

There is no better testament to why Planned Parenthood must be defunded than the account of a former insider — Abby Johnson — whose life work is to serve women and saw first-hand how it exploits them.

She found out the hard way that Planned Parenthood hides its true mission and deceives the public about its health services.

If this Congress cannot find the moral courage to relieve taxpayers of the burden this scandal-plagued organization places upon them, it is not serious about budget reform.

The TV ad above will begin airing on DC-area cable tomorrow through Thursday, April 7th. It was produced by the Susan B. Anthony List Education Fund and co-sponsored by American Values, CatholicVote.org Education Fund, and Catholic Advocate.

What this lady is saying I know to be completely true. There is absolutely no reason Planned Parenthood should continue to receive any government funding whatsoever.

Planned Parenthood is not strictly an abortion provider. I’ve been to Planned Parenthood, and they provide low-cost contraception so women can avoid unwanted pregnancies. They also screen for STDs, and provide excellent basic healthcare for poor women and those who lack insurance. If you really want to cut down on abortions, you should support low-cost contraception. Check your facts, and don’t believe everything you hear.

I am just a reader here, so I speak only with the authority of an informed one, but you will find RedState is opposed to abortion, and you have voiced support for it.

Take your beeswax and slide on over to the left where you belong.

PS: Planned Parenthood is MOST known as an abortion provider.

You don’t come back, and I don’t call Jeff H. up and ask him personally and on the record whether your academic institution permits use of a research center’s official email in order to make partisan political attacks.

That sound like a good deal? – Yeah, that sounds like a good deal.

I think your logic is flawed. If we want to reduce the number of abortions, then stop paying for them.. The demand for something typically goes down as the price increases. You can read about it in any economics book.
