Mickey Mouse filed a trademark lawsuit against Donald Duck in Florida District Court this week. Yes, the case was actually filed.
If we can have a civilian trial with 9-11 terrorists Kalid Sheikh Mohammed, we might as well have Mickey suing Donald. Which one is the bigger joke?
Unfortunately, it’s hard to tell.
KSM is now getting the same rights as any American citizen. Which means he needs to have been mirandized before he spoke. He had the right to an attorney to be present. He has the presumption of innocence, the right to a speedy trial and the right to be judged by a jury of his peers. Notwithstanding the confusion this must cause to our fighting troops, and the fact that there is a proper venue with military tribunals, how can this decision be judged as logical?
To put it in Disney terms, its just plain Goofy.
