Today on the 10th anniversary of attacks on American soil that killed, murdered 3000 people in the name of Allah, Paul Krugman chooses to state in his op-ed piece some of the same leftist drivel making it’s rounds. It has been said by progressives, liberals and those who hate America that we deserved 9/11; it has been whispered in coffee houses or media “journalists” who have long since lost any integrity muse aloud how America could have brought this on themselves all the while maintaining their answers to that question it is “news.” You Tube is full of snippets of videos from truthers claiming that America attacked themselves or some other conspiratorial rubbish. Krugman goes further down the rabbit hole in demeaning George Bush, Bernie Kerik, and Rudy Giuliani. He terms them “fake heroes.” Who would he then hold up as an exemplary participant in the horror that was 9/11? If not our leaders, if not those who led the way out and had strong, clear voices, if not those who led in the fight against terrorism, then who???? Krugman doesn’t offer any answers, so I have to assume he either has none, or the ones he has are not polite to whisper in public? Maybe he favors the terrorists or the 5th column liberals that marched with signs saying they support their troops when they are ordered to shoot their superiors? Maybe he favors the college professors who teach your kids 9/11 was an inside job or brought on by the atrocities committed abroad? Who really knows because he doesn’t offer any answers, only ad-hominem attacks and hubris. That is not journalism, that is petty envy, sour grapes, a Napoleonic syndrome of an angry, bitter little troll. And pieces like his that try to paint 9/11 as an occasion for shame, embolden our enemies and give them strength. I submit that the attacks on our troops today would not happen without the help of hit pieces like Krugman’s, short on fact, long on sympathy for anyone who opposes George Bush. 3 years out of office and the derangement syndrome still persists. It is the same affliction the left can’t seem to get over. It is a mental disorder for which they afflicted refuses any cure.

9/11 is a solemn occasion to pay tribute to those who died, innocent people whose only crime is that they were not followers of a religion that celebrates death more than life. It is an occasion to pay tribute to those who did not give up without a fight and to remember those who led us out of those dark days; some who are still paying the price. It is an occasion to renew our support for and fight for those who are still suffering from the effects of 9/11, either mentally or physically and those who are dying from answering the call for help. It is a time to donate blood, give to your local fire departments, police, EMT’s and other first responders, things we can physically do, each of us, but it is not a day to pick a fight.

Thank God we live in America where Mr. Krugman can state his opinion, and freedom of speech allows others to call him on it. His final comment [I’m not going to allow comments on this post, for obvious reasons."] tells me Krugman only believes in freedom of his speech. What is scary, is that is the same thing our enemies believe.

John Boehner originally asked for $32 billion in cuts to which

Harry Reid called the original amount “draconian, scandalous” and other things behind closed doors, I am sure

The funding received may have had to drop PP to be picked up in a separate vote, but we are only talking about 6 more months in the fiscal year. So, in essence, Boehner may have only gotten half of what we demanded, but it was for only ½ the fiscal year anyway, so it all works out in the wash.

Planned Parenthood votes will be better served on an individual vote so we know who supports government subsidized murder; the tax payer wasn’t there during conception and should not be fiscally responsible for the bad behavior of others

I think this, in addition to the Ryan Roadmap will be a home run for the GOP. I myself would cut more, like a mad woman on a coupon spree, but I suppose, for now, I can live with the Ryan Proposal because it will “simplify the tax codes and get all those special breaks and privileges and special treatment out of it, and lower the rates for everybody” to quote Rove. It is a better roadmap than we have had in 100 years.

Now, I understand the Democrats will come out with more fear mongering and outright lies. Obama will even propose his own budget that will have some cuts, but will propose changes to parts of the tax code he thinks benefit the wealthy, again with the class warfare bit, but I do not think any Tea Partier, Independent, Republican or those who are looking down the road at what they will inherit, no matter their politics, will be swayed much. Seniors are smarter than Obama gives them credit and know they will be used as pawns, but even they will not be swayed. The only people that will be challenged as to where they stand will be those who make a living off the government, those who have no job outside of taking from the government, those who have worked their whole lives to set up the government to take care of their every needs [i.e. baby boomers], those who are college graduate elites that do not yet pay their own way [son, you are in for one rude awakening], and those of the non productive class that take and take and take and add nothing to the economy or workforce. The Cloward and Piven ½ of the population made up of union workers, welfare recipients and the not so intelligencia that know better than everyone else how government “ought” to work, and usually they mean to line their pockets and make you pay.

I am watching with rapt attention at what will pan out from these events. The way they are addressed, or not, by the administration and the GOP, specifically our newly elected freshman will tell us all we need to know about the character of our leaders. I suspect it will be the one thing that separates the men from the boys and from it will emerge those that will have the right stuff to be considered electable in 2012.

1. DOMA: Atty. Gen. Holder and Obama no longer believe in the constitutionality of the defense of marriage between one man and one woman. Newt Gingrich is on the record as having stated it could be the start of an impeachment for this president, but I find this is just one of many offenses. Civil unions are not defined as marriage for a reason. The main reason is that marriage is the cornerstone of a society and adds to it and the population. Civil unions, while they may feel right, are not the same and never will be. They do not add to society, in fact of the all the monogamous relationships plead to defend civil unions, only a few actually turn out to be so monogamous. They do not add to the population, they have to borrow from others what they cannot produce. Let’s face it, it takes slot A and tab B to make a completely new entity. Two of the same will never cut it.

Not only is DOMA constitutional but it is sanctified and enshrined by people of faith. The administrations act on not defending it is twofold. First, to attack the sanctity of marriage and the faith of people and 2. to attack the cornerstone of any civilized culture. Once the cornerstones that uphold the pillars of a community crumble, they can be remade in any skewed version. Once societal norms and social boundaries have been forced to jump the shark, then it is an anything goes scenario that reeks of anarchy.

2. March on DC for Sharia Law: I have addressed this before, but this president cannot allow Anjem Choudary to assemble a group calling for Sharia Law in the US. This is a clarion call for the president and the newly elected GOP personnel to defend the US Constitution and make it crystal clear that Sharia has no place in the US and that a march to demand it will not be tolerated. They need to stand firm and unequivocally state that First Amendment rights do not extend to insurrection. Sharia Law is diametrically opposed to our founding documents and cannot usurp rule of law. What the GOP does, what the newly elected freshmen do will separate the wheat from the chaff. Fidelity to the people, the citizens and fidelity to the law is what we demand. Show some backbone.

3. July 4th Million Muslim March, again in DC:

Why on July 4th? 9/11 healing? Please. The US was attacked by MUSLIMS who practiced ISLAM on 9/11, not the other way around. There were no mosques destroyed after the attack and damn precious few Muslims were harassed afterwards. Taqqyia is spinning here, folks, and this again, cannot go unanswered. In fact, the spirit of Neville Chamberlain is in the House as we see that the US is spending millions of YOUR tax dollarsto buy goodwill that will never be given. We are giving middle eastern mosques a face lift while Muslims are marching on our soil…..I have never been so ashamed of our elected leaders.

Forget the Chicagoland tactics of the unions and their funding by Obama’s Organizing for America. Far more is at stake and they are allowed to go on to keep your eyes off of what is REALLY happening to and in America.

There are three things today I want to blog short and no-so-sweet about. Lack of leadership by our President resulted in these happenings, none of which I believe the will be addressed sufficiently:

1. Choudary to protest in DC/wants Sharia Law in the US: from the DAILY MAIL, of all places, and not from a US outlet, but picked up by FOX, Choudary the author of “the flag of Islam will fly over the White House,” says he will lead a demonstration rallying Muslims to establish Sharia law across the United States.

If the President doesn’t make it clear that Sharia law is not compatible with the US Contstitution and that such actions would be tantamount to insurrection and is punishable in this country AND throw them all out of the US, he is not worthy of the office he holds and MUST be removed.

It is not time for talk. It is not time to recalibrate. It is not time to reflect. The answer is not no, but hell no and if you don’t like it, get out.

2. Pirates take US citizens hostage/US mulls response: The only question I have is what in God’s name is there to mull over? Send in the spec ops, free our people and kill the pirates. It isn’t hard. It isn’t strategically tricky. You just do it. What is the president doing?

If the President doesn’t make it clear that you don’t mess with us in an attempt to see if we will blink, such actions are punishable by swift and terrible justice AND just follow up with action, he is not worthy of the office he hold and MUST be removed.

It is not time for talk. It is not time to recalibrate. It is not time to reflect. We don’t mull, we act.

********UPDATE**********http://www.foxnews.com/world/2011/02/22/americans-aboard-yacht-captured-pirates-reportedly-killed/ This is a Jimmy Carter, Mickey Mouse response and I hold lack of action on the part of our Administration and those who allowed this to transpire, accountable.

3. All the Presidents Pawns/OFA organizes Wisconsin Thug-a-Thon: Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is right to ask for Teachers Unions [and any others] to pay their fair share and quit asking the taxpayers to pick up the tab. The unions are wrong, the sick out is wrong, indoctrinating young people is wrong and taking them to protest on the taxpayer dime is wrong. In addition, the greed of the public sector employees means that 6,000 – 12,000 may lose their jobs. They are not being asked to pay anything more than what private sectory employees are being FORCED to do. Moreover, the President insinuating himself on the side of unions and allowing HIS group, OFA to organize the protest tell me and SHOULD tell you all you need to know about the man, his lack of character and lack of leadership. It should also tell you what form of politics he employs, and it isn’t democracy. It is Chicago style thuggery and intimidation. He wants a socialists workers state and he will manipulate and use any crisis to get it. He is not presidential material, he is merely a community organizer that got lucky and we are paying the price for it.

If the President does not remove himself from the situation and order the teachers back to work, his role in the who kerfuffle needs to be made very clear. If he does not order OFA to step back and let Wisconsin citizens deal with their own affairs, he needs to be publicly chastised. If he does not mind his own federal affairs and quit sticking his nose in states affairs, he needs to recalled along with the Democratic representatives that have abidcated their role and responsibilty to the people of the state of Wisconsin, and to America.

Here we are at the end of the first month of 2011 and what have we to show?

With all the meltdown occurring in Egypt today, if one was watching the media in the US one would think we were living through 1979 again. In 1979 we had an impotent liberal president in office that looked like a feckless fool in both domestic and foreign affairs. 2011 is no different. In 1979 the roiling of the people in Iran boiled over and the pro Western government was overthrown for an authoritarian government. Fast forward to 2011 and Tunisia, Lebanon, Egypt are all roiling over looking for a more democratic government. Take note however, that democracy in the the middle east does not look like democracy in the US and they have groups like the Muslim Brotherhood just waiting to fill the void.

MB has their political platform ready: “The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt calls for war with the tiny Jewish state. What better way to unify the ummah than with tried-and-true, religiously mandated Islamic anti-semitism.” HT to Atlas’s Pamela Gellar. If you want the facts, be sure to read Gellar and Gabriel. One note you do not hear from the drive by media, if Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood Backs ElBaradei Role, we should be against it.

2011 has brought two separate rulings that Obamacare is NOT constitutional.The latest in Florida, the individual mandate has been ruled to be unconstitutional, not even the tears of Shep Smith could save it. From Fox News: “Florida judge rules that health care law is unconstitutional and says the entire act must be declared void.” Vinson stated there is no severability, meaning, that the entire bill cannot stand separate from the individual mandate which is NOT constitutional, the entire bill is null and void. I love the smell of constitutional righteousness in the afternoon.

Not surprisingly, two separate rulings state just the opposite, but such is the way of political plays on its way to a Supreme Court ruling.

J-Nap, or the Napster is wagging her finger at the Mexican drug cartels. They are quaking in their boots because of these words: :”Don’t even think about bringing your violence…. across this border,” NOT. Man we look like feckless fools, again. Lip service is laughable when precipitated with removing a border fence and removing our Sesame Street color coded threat level system {ie Elmo Red, Cookie Monster Blue, Oscar Green}.

Napster. Our Marcy Darcy. I feel all secure now, don’t you?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Early voitng begins in New York for the Mayoral race.   Rahm Emanuel still has his name on the candidate list, despite being a resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave for the last two years.   Consider this a dry run for stealing the 2012 election.  You have been warned.
The whole election is SOP for Chicago style tactics:
Emanuel’s closest contender for the office is former U.S. Sen. Carol Moseley Braun, who stirred up controversy on Sunday when she accused another candidate of being a crack addict.
Patricia Van Pelt-Watkins, a community activist who has 1 percent support compared to Braun’s 21 percent, according to the Tribune poll, accused Braun at a candidate forum of not being active in the community in recent years.
Braun retorted that Van Pelt-Watkins didn’t know where Braun was “because you were strung out on crack.”
Van Pelt-Watkins has told local media outlets that she had never used crack cocaine, and has been sober for more than 25 years. On Monday, she was demanding an apology from Braun.
Not surprisingly, of these stellar choices, Emanuel is in the lead by far.
It seems the EPA has been working overtime to bypass Congress and the will of the people to deploy the will of the left, or the will of the donks.
According to AP the Obamanots have announced plans for new power plants and oil refinery emission standards for 2011 and beyond.  Under the Clean Air Act in 2011, the EPA plans to.  According to Lisa Jackson, EPA Adminstrator:   “We are following through on our commitment to proceed in a measured and careful way to reduce GHG pollution that threatens the health and welfare of Americans, and contributes to climate change,” … “These standards will help American companies attract private investment to the clean energy upgrades that make our companies more competitive and create good jobs here at home.”
She neglects the parts where the EPA’s micromanaging the decline of the energy industry and the escalation of electricity prices will zap you and me in the wallet while simultaneously killing off two major industries [oil/gas and coal] in echange for the less-than-stellar benefits of wind and solar power.  Coming from Texas, that is a big chunk of our economy.
The EPA will accept public comment on these two agreements for 30 days following publication of notice in the Federal Register.   You can read it, here.
Please make your voices heard.  I thought we had killed Cap’n Tax, but he lives.  Call you reps, call your governors, call your senators, make the EPA understnd that they cannot unilaterally makes these kinds of calls where action by a governmental agency is based on high school or college thesis papers or shoddy climate data, manipulated to suit their needs.  This seems to be the chosen tack of the federal government and it we must be ever vigilant as our rights are eroded one by one.  We are under siege; it is time to ask yourself, are you a citizen or are you a subject?
