There’s an old country saying that goes something like “Never wrestle with a pig. You’ll both get dirty but the pig will enjoy it.”

Before the Supreme Court made it’s Obamacare ruling, liberals were raising fears about right wing violence. Patrick Kennedy, son of the late Ted, wrote “if the court upholds the law. dangerous Tea Party extremists will go on a rampage.”

Maybe we should.

In the wake of the devestating ruling, there is speculation that Roberts may have actually been intimidated by the press and the left into changing his vote on Obamacare. If true, this would not only be a tragic failing of the highest court in the land, it would signal that future votes could be awarded on the basis of which side would cause the most destruction if they lose. That’s no way to run a country. But is it the way this country is now run?

Does anybody else find it ironic that the peaceful Tea Party rallies with their Gadsden flags, colonial costumes and children gleefully demanding an accountable government (and picking up their trash afterwards) is depicted in the press as a bunch of wild-eyed, racist lunatics threatening the very fabric of our nation and holding the country hostage? I mean my God people, somebody brought a GUN to one of those rallies! But the Occupy whatever movement, you know the one with all the rapes and robberies that’s cost various cities millions in clean up costs and police overtime? That movement? Well, those people are democracy in action!

So, if liberal politicians and their cheerleaders in the mainstream press are going to portray us as thugs, maybe it’s time we played the part. Let’s occupy the statehouses of all those governors debating the Obamacare exchanges with the passion of teacher’s unions protesting a pay cut! Instead of Gadsden flags and teacups, let’s march on Washington with pitchforks and torches! Because, I don’t think Nancy Pelosi and her minions are actually afraid of us. But maybe they should be.

So maybe, we’re going to have to get down in the mud and wrestle with the pigs. And maybe we’re going to have to learn to like it.
