Chris Christie has proven himself to be a traitor to conservatives everywhere. Christie spent the past week having such a public ”man crush” on Obama, that someone might have mistaken him for Chris Matthews.

The focus this last week should have been on Obama’s shameful conduct in Benghazi. Instead, the schizophrenic Christie allowed himself to be manipulated by Obama’s camp so easily, that one has to question the reasoning for his desertion of Governor Romney. I believe the egomaniacal Christie would rather run for POTUS in 2016 than 2020. And chose to spend the last week stabbing Mitt in the back.

I understand that Christie had to ”break bread” with Obama when Obama came to tour New Jersey for disaster relief for Hurricane Sandy. We all should be fine with that. But after Obama left, Christie has continued to act ”star-struck” toward the liberal Democrat. Both men are frequent apologizers for Islam so that may also be a shared bond.

And Christie refused an invitation to attend a Sunday night rally with Mr. Romney in Pennsylvania, only 20 minutes from Trenton. You can google Benedict Arnold/Chris Christie or Traitor Chris Christie and see that the internet is abuzz with stories about how Christie the RINO has been selling out to Obama. I suspect the backlash from conservatives may be so great that Christie may have to turn Democrat. Of course, that may have been his plan all along.

And Christie will do his usual bold talking shtick to cover up any questions about his treacherous behavior. But loudless is never going to be an acceptable substitute for loyalty.

Who says that one person can’t make a difference? Monica Boyer, a mother of four, was instrumental in taking down a sitting U.S. senator. This is the story of Monica Boyer, who exemplifies everything that the Tea Party movement stands for.

Monica got involved in politics in 2004. She owned and operated a licensed home daycare. Then the state of Indiana began to over-regulate daycare. Monica knew that something had to be done. So she began working with her state legislators and her Governor. Monica learned about effective lobbying during those days. In the end, she won and Governor Daniels vetoed the proposed regulations.

At that point, Monica figured that she was called to fight for family values. For the next four years, she fought on the front lines of the pro family movement. When Barack Obama was elected, she realized that there is no way that we can fight for family values if we lose our Constitution. Monica then got involved in the Tea Party movement.

Her focus quickly turned to six term Senator Richard Lugar. After Senator Lugar’s vote for Elena Kagan, Monica knew Lugar had finally ”crossed the line of no return”. Over the past few years, Monica had been watching the Senator’s voting record turn further and further to the left. And this vote was the last straw. Elena Kagan was a dangerous nominee who had never even presided over so much as a traffic case. And Kagan stated that she would look to international law to make her decisions.

Monica knew the tea party had made huge errors in the 2010 Indiana senatorial primary race and split the vote between four conservative candidates, allowing the more moderate Dan Coats to win. They had to do things differently this time. She made a call to Greg Fettig of Indianapolis and said, ”Greg, you don’t know me but do you want to help me take Senator Lugar out?” He said, “You mean vote him out right?” After we laughed about that, he said “Absolutely.”

That phone call began Hoosiers for a Conservative Senate. And the uniting of the Tea Party in order to oust the RINO Lugar.

That was the hardest 18 months of her life. Monica said ”Uniting the Tea Party was like herding cats. Nearly impossible.”

There were days that she would call Greg in tears. They not only had attacks from the outside, but they came from the inside too. Greg and Monica both received death threats. There were days that she thought they were not going to make it.

In the end, they made history. They did the unthinkable. Monica thanked God for his help and his strength. And now we have the privilege to elect Richard Mourdock. A true Conservative.

Monica introduces Senator Rand Paul at Glenn Beck’s event at Dallas Cowboys Stadium

Monica supports Mitt Romney because it is the right thing to do. Boyer initially had concerns about him because, like the majority of Tea Partiers, she is a social conservative. But one day when FreedomWorks Chairman Dick Armey was in town he made her look at this from a whole new viewpoint.

Armey told her, “The Presidents job is not to make policy. We need to look at the branch that makes policy. The House and Senate. If the Mitt Romney wins, we BOX HIM IN. If Obama would happen to win, we BOX HIM OUT”. Monica realized then, that we had a job to do… We need to box Mitt Romney in.

She is ready to elect Mitt, hold him accountable and stop the Obama regime from stealing any more of our freedom.

When I asked her about Barack Obama, she said ”Barack Obama is the epidomy of evil. He has stolen more from the American family than any person in American history. I am afraid for my children. I am afraid for my country. His attack on religious freedom, his attack on the unborn, his attack on the Constitution, his attack on the family must be stopped in November. If he is not stopped, I fear that we will have gone past the point of no return.”

Monica has just finished writing a book called “Not on My Watch, a Mom’s Fight for the Heart and Soul of Her Country”. The book will be released in September. Monica initially sat down to write the book to write to her children. But that idea got bigger.

Monica knew that she had to challenge women, and specifically moms who think that the only thing they can do is change diapers.

She also wanted to challenge young people. Monica wanted to show them that if they take a stand for something, the reward is great.

And she wanted to let the people who have retired know that there is more than rocking chairs to life.

As Monica said, ”One person can make a difference. I am a regular mom of four children. And I was able to help write a page in the history books. This is my story, a challenge and a book of hope”.

Monica and her family with the next Senator from Indiana, Richard Mourdock

When I asked Monica her plans for the future, she said ”I have given up asking what next… I know God has a plan for my life. I have surrendered it fully to Him. I will go through what ever door He opens for me. I have a passion for the family, a passion for fighting for the unborn, a passion for my country. I love fighting for the things I believe in. I am ready for the next door to walk through”.

My good friend Monica Boyer is currently the President of the ”Kosciusko Silent NO More” Tea Party group http://www.kosciuskosilentnomore.com/ and is getting ready to publish a book called Not on My Watch, A Mom’s Fight for the Heart and Soul of our Country. https://www.facebook.com/NotonmyWatchaMomsFight

In many ways, Christopher Edwards is your typical eleven year old boy. He loves motocross and animals, and like most his age, enjoys playing with his friends. He loves chinese food and sushi, and said he could eat it “all the time.”

But one thing about Christopher is different. He recently started a group called Huddle Up For Heroes, whose purpose is to see that all of our troops receive a ”Huddle Box” full of letters and little things that remind them of home and bring them some level of comfort.

HUDDLE UP FOR HEROES is a group created by an 11 year old boy who has a passion for our Troops and a desire to see that those overseas get packages from home! For info on how you can help email us at huddleupforheroes@gmail.com. Thank you!

https://www.facebook.com/HuddleUpForHeros

Christopher Edwards may only be eleven, but he has already impacted the lives of many military service members.

”I just wanted to do something to help the Troops overseas,” he said when asked how he came up with the idea for Huddle Up for Heroes. “Then early this year I saw a story about another boy my age who was helping the Troops by sending things to them. I asked my parents if we could do that, but I wanted to make sure every hero got a package from me. I want them to know that we love and respect and pray for them always.”

”His dad and I are so proud of him,” said his mother Denise.

“But he has always had a special place in his heart for the military. In 2004, he saw me lose a childhood friend who was like a brother over in Iraq. He started realizing then what sacrifices those who serve make for us and our freedom.”

She said that Christopher “started saluting anyone he saw in uniform.”

“He would walk up to them, salute them, tell them ‘thank you’ for protecting us or something like that, then tell them he was praying for them and shake their hands,” she said.

Christopher has also been a guiding light to his friends. His homeschool friends now think ”it’s cool” to help our heroes and plan on helping him get things together for the Huddle Box Care Packages, and help write letters.

Christopher’s mentor, a retired Marine tanker named Daniel William Porcupile, had this to say about his young protege: ”I think he is setting the example that all of our younger generation need to follow, here is the thing, he is doing it because it’s the right thing to do and it’s from his heart. Huddle Up For Heroes was all his idea.”

At the end of the interview, I asked Christopher what he wanted to do with his life.

”I am learning about motocross now,” he said. “I want to start racing soon. I want to be like Ryan Dungey! He ROCKS! But I really want to be in the Marines when I grow up. I want to be a K9 handler.”

”And I am just a regular kid. I love playing with my dogs and cats and having fun. I just want to do all I can to help our Heroes! I want to send as many Huddle Boxes as I can. Our Sailors, Soldiers, Marines and Airmen deserve our help and respect.”

(Hat Tip to Jessica Roe for bringing Huddle Up For Heroes to my attention)

Obama has set up a new website today. It’s called the Obama Event Registry. It’s purpose is to encourage people to….get this…. take the money that would be used to buy someone a gift on a special occasion like their birthday, graduation or wedding and instead donate it to Obama’s re-election campaign. It even tells you how to write the note.

Got a birthday, anniversary, or wedding coming up?

Let your friends know how important this election is to you—register with Obama 2012, and ask for a donation in lieu of a gift. It’s a great way to support the President on your big day. Plus, it’s a gift that we can all appreciate—and goes a lot further than a gravy bowl.

Setting up and sharing your registry page is easy—so get started today.

http://www.barackobama.com/news/entry/the-obama-event-registry

Am I the only one who thinks it is incredibly tacky for the President of the United States to hustle children out of their birthday gifts for his political fundraising needs? Although Obama doesn’t want the gifts, he actually wants you to give him the cash that would be used to buy the gifts. What selfishness and arrogance.

And it gets even worse. Look at the blatant sales pitch they hit you with on the next page.

Register with Obama

Got a special milestone or event coming up?

Instead of another gift card you’ll forget to use, ask your friends and family for something that will go a little further: a donation to Obama for America. Register your next celebration—whether it’s a birthday, bar or bat mitzvah, wedding, or anniversary—with the Obama campaign. It’s a great way to show your support for a cause that’s important to you on your big day.

http://www.barackobama.com/obama-event-registry?source=TheObamaEventRegistry-20120622-signup-HQB&icn=20120622-TheObamaEventRegistry-signup-HQB

I am sure that a new couple will be thrilled to know that instead of getting the microwave they needed, their friend decided to donate the money to Obama campaign. And I noticed Obama is also making a grab for bar mitzvah money. A bar mitzvah is given when a boy turns thirteen. Thirteen. I imagine that ”Tooth Fairies for Obama” is right around the corner.

These people are clueless and classless. November can’t get here quick enough for me.

Current Indiana State Treasurer Richard Mourdock will defeat Richard Lugar, Obama’s favorite Republican, on May 8 and go on to do a great job of representing the Hoosier state as their Senator. Mourdock is a principled conservative with a bright future ahead of him. There are several reasons Indiana voters should cast their ballots for Mourdock over Washington, D.C. insider and career politican Dick Lugar.

Let’s start with one of our most basic rights – the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. Are you aware that Dick Lugar has an ”F” rating with both the NRA and the Gun Owners of America? Lugar marches in lockstep with his idol Obama on the issue of gun control. In fact, he was the ONLY Republican to support the global UN small arms treaty, which would allow foreign countries to dictate gun laws to Americans.

Yet he opposes border control and was a co-sponsor of the Dream Act which would illegal immigrants amnesty and citizenship. I am sure that Lugar’s lefty pals at the New York Times and the United Nations are downright giddy over the thought of simultaneously disarming our law abiding citizens and opening our borders to all who want to come here and cause our country harm. But I somehow do not think Indiana Republicans share Lugar’s liberal viewpoints on those issues.

Unlike Lugar, Richard Mourdock actually lives in Indiana. So he is very much in tune with the wishes of his fellow Hoosiers on these vital issues. In fact, Mourdock has been wholeheartedly endorsed by both the NRA and illegal immigration opponent ALIPAC. And here is what ALIPAC founder William Gheen had to say about Mourdock.

“Indiana voters have a clear choice between Richard Mourdock, who will fight to protect American jobs, taxpayer resources, and lives from illegal immigration, and Richard Lugar, who has fought to support the interests of illegal immigrants over American citizens,” said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC.

http://richardmourdock.com/endorsements/organizations

Indiana Republicans tend to be fiscal conservatives who care deeply about the direction that their country is headed. Career politicians like Lugar simply do not understand that the days of ”tax and spend” are over. Lugar lives in that ”Washington D.C. bubble” where politicians are treated like kings and hard earned taxpayer money is thrown around like monopoly money.

The American Conservative Union was founded in 1964 and has a nearly 50 year track record of diligently representing Americans who are concerned with economic growth through lower taxes and reduced government spending. For decades, their congressional ratings have been the definitive guide when it comes to determining where Members of Congress stand on conservative issues. We are talking about some serious long term proven credibilty here. Shall we see what they have to say about the two candidates?

ACU Chairman Al Cardenas issued the following statement: “Richard Mourdock is the clear conservative choice in the Indiana Republican Primary May 8. His record as a successful businessman and as State Treasurer shows that he will bring a needed understanding of free enterprise and sound fiscal policies to the Senate. As Treasurer, Richard Mourdock earned over $1 million in investment income for taxpayers and returned 10% of his budget back to the Treasury each year.

The incumbent, Senator Lugar, has frequently opposed conservatives on key issues in the Senate, such as earmark reform while supporting the bailouts of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac against a majority of Republicans. Senator Lugar opposed efforts by the late House Foreign Affairs Chairman Henry Hyde to support reforms at the United Nations and is also the lead sponsor of the Law of the Sea Treaty, which President Ronald Reagan opposed as a threat to U.S. sovereignty.”

http://conservative.org/

Richard Mourdock was elected Indiana’s State Treasurer in November 2006 and was re-elected in 2010, leading the Republican ticket with over 62% of the vote. Obviously he is a strong candidate or he would not have been re-elected by such a high margin by the people of Indiana. Mourdock has also been endorsed by such well known conservatives as Redstate’s Erick Erickson, FreedomWorks CEO Matt Kibbe, Sarah Palin, Rick Santorum, Herman Cain and Mark Levin.

Lugar eagerly appeared in a campaign television advertisement for Obama during the 2008 presidential election, then went on to enthusiastically serve as a co-chair for Obama’s inaugural committee. Lugar is widely known as ”Obama’s favorite Republican. That is just not the type of title that an Indiana Republican should aspire to.

Indiana voters are faced with a clear choice this election period. They can either vote for a career politician like Lugar who doesn’t even live in their state, or they can vote for a principled conservative with a bright national future like Richard Mourdock.

Is a vote for Ron Paul a vote for Code Pink?

On Monday, the left wing anti-war group Code Pink praised Ron Paul’s foreign policy while condemning Obama’s apparent lack of diplomacy toward Iran in a press conference on Monday, according to the Daily Caller.

“I think Ron Paul has a remarkable position when it comes to U.S. foreign policy, and his call for no war on Iran that something that many of us support,” Code Pink founder Medea Benjamin told reporters at the National Press Club.

“His call for an end of the U.S. empire — that we should be a democracy that lives within our own borders — is something that resonates with a lot of people. A call for an end to what he calls the ‘warfare state’ is something that resonates with many people in the peace community,” she added. …

Benjamin decried what she called the “corporate media” which she says is giving Paul “short shrift” in the debates.

Code Pink has been fond of Paul’s foreign policy positions for quite some time.

“The Ron Paul people are closer and closer to our talking points with each election,” Code Pink activist Liz Hourican told Fox News last May. …

Conservative talk show host Mark Levin called Paul’s foreign policy “unpatriotic” and “un-American,” while Rush Limbaugh blasted his position as akin to “blaming America” for the 9/11 terror attacks.

Paul has repeatedly called for friendship with Iran – a regime that has stated its desire to see Israel wiped off the face of the earth.

Last December, Paul blamed the United States for Iran’s actions and praised Obama for “wisely backing off on sanctions” and pursuing diplomacy. …

Andrew Ian Dodge, a 40-something writer, blogger and Maine Tea Party Patriots coordinator, says Republican Senator Olympia Snowe is “out of touch” with modern America, and that is why he is running to unseat her.

According to his bio, he “organized the first registered tea party event in Maine, which took place in Augusta on April 15 2009.”

He was also instrumental in formulating the strategy for the small-government movement that played a huge role in giving Republicans a majority in the House.

But Dodge says that the long-time Republican Senator is “completely out of touch with her constituents and the needs of 21st century Maine.” …

“She has been in D.C. for 33 years and is completely out of touch with the real world outside of the Beltway,” he added.

Dodge, who considers himself a “new school web/tech savy limited government, fiscal conservative and free market obsessed rabble rouser,” says that Snowe’s vote for TARP and the auto bailouts, combined with the “internet kill switch” legislation she introduced with Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-WV), makes her unfit to serve in the Senate.

He adds that Snowe’s vote to push Obamacare out of committee makes her “an old school big government Republican” out of touch with mainstream America and mainstream Mainers. …

Who says that a conservative Republican can’t win the black vote? It looks like Rick Santorum’s choice to make Reverend O’Neal Dozier the honorary chairman of his Florida Campaign is already paying huge dividends. Dozier, the former NFL football player turned pastor, endorsed Santorum from his pulpit on Sunday. Rev. Dozier warmly introduced Senator Santorum, saying that ”Obama has been very bad for our black community,” and that ”Rick Santorum is a man of honor and the choice to beat Obama in November.”

Santorum took the stage at the Worldwide Christian Center and quickly struck a chord with the mostly black congregation. Santorum said ”people call me the values candidate, but I firmly believe family values are an economic issue.” Rick then pointed out that ”over 40% of single parent homes in the black community are under the poverty line. That needs to be changed. And strengthening the family unit is the best way to lift these families out of poverty.”

Senator Santorum then discussed the strategic importance of standing with Israel, calling them ”our loyal ally and our best friend in the Middle East.” One could see the churchgoers heads nodding in approval at that statement.

Rick also spoke about his battle to ban partial birth abortion, also known as ”infantcide”. For those of you unaware of what this gruesome practice is, a live baby comes out of the mother womb. legs first, everything except the head. The doctor then crushes the head of the baby and removes the now dead baby from the mother’s womb and disposes of it.

http://www.abortionfacts.com/literature/literature_9313pb.asp

Senator Santorum introduced the ”Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003″ into legislation and devoted all of his political capital into getting this crucial piece of legislation passed. Rick finally succeeded in getting this bill passed, but at a high personal cost. He was now ”public enemy number one” of the far left and the liberal media, and they took their revenge on him by helping Bob Casey Jr, the son of former popular Pennsylvania Governor Robert Casey, defeat Santorum for his Senate seat in 2006.

Then came the most touching moment of the day. As well as one that serves as an ominous warning for the danger that Obamacare presents to our country. Rick spoke about his 3 year old disabled daughter Bella. Bella was born with a rare genetic disorder called trisomy 18(Edwards syndrome). Doctors and health care providers said that she would be emotionally and physically disabled and openly suggested that it was a poor allotment of ”time and medical resources” to try to keep her alive. But Rick instead chose to embrace Bella as a valued and important member of the Santorum family. And Rick shared from the heart about the lessons that his family learned from Bella. That everyone is disabled in one way or another. And the value of unconditonal love.

Rick Santorum received a standing ovation as he walked off the stage.
