Surprise, surprise

I caught this little gem: <a href=”http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/12/29/AR2009122902289.html?hpid%3Dtopnews&amp;sub=AR”></a  at the Washington Post and there is another article over at the Wall Street Journal as well.  It seems the people that may have trained Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab were released from Gitmo in 2007.  I know that everyone here agrees that closing Guantanamo is probably one of the worst moves in regards to national security, but I am wondering if Guantanamo is turning into a terrorist finishing school as well.  Junior League terrorists can brush up their skills by being locked up with the pros.  When they are released its like a graduation of sorts to the  big leagues.

I always thought that releasing these guys was huge mistake and now I feel vindicated.  If we were actually observing the letter of the Geneva Conventions we would’nt be having this conversation.

My bad.  My original post was not deleted.

Posted a comment to a column and it was deleted.  Don’t know why, it was’nt hateful or mean but the powers that be deemed it not worthy of posting so it went away.  That stinks.
