Oh, *Harry*. Shouting at reporters?

Is that really professional behavior?

(H/T: Hot Air) He apparently isn’t very happy at the way that the Senate GOP is staying on-point over energy policy (as noted here)

Reid Flares Over Media Coverage of Energy Proposals

WASHINGTON — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s advice to reporters who don’t get his energy agenda: Check your hearing.

{snip}

Reporters tried to pin Reid down Thursday on the amendment issue.

In the exchange, Reid told one reporter she should “watch the [Senate] floor more often. … You might learn something.”

Another reporter explained she had watched the Senate proceedings and said it was not clear he was … offereing separate amendments, to which Reid asked the reporter if she “spoke English.”

“Turn up your Miracle Ear,” Reid added.

Of course, if I was in Harry Reid’s place I’d pick the the reporters to lash out at, too. It’d be safer than doing it to Mitch McConnell.

    “Turn up your Miracle Ear.”

He had to know that this would get reported. Every politician should know that even a friendly reporter will run with this stuff.

Harry is getting very sensitive and apt to fly off quickly. The pressure should be kept on him I think since it looks as if he is close to the edge. One of these days he’s going to lose it and when he does he’s on the road out. Hurray!

that Harry has stepped all over himself in the past two years.

Harry said the war was lost, but we unfortunately (for him) won it.

Harry said that electing Dims would lower the price of gasoline.

Harry said that electing Dims would lower food costs.

Harry said that electing Dims would make the economy better.

Harry said that well you get the idea by now.

except by the Culinary Union and SEIU.

I am confident that in 2010, Harry will meet same fate as North Dakota Tom D. His approval rating locally is only slightly better than the congress as a whole and less the GWB’s. :)

should be extremely offended, and demand an immediate apology from Reid.

I realize that you’re doing it out of jest, and I get it.

But for the record, I am Deaf, and my ears are not broken in any shape or form. I hear just fine, I hear with my eyes, thank you very much.

Calling me a hearing-impaired person sounds like I’m broken or something, which is definiely far from the truth.

However, please continue making fun of Reid and his cronies.

However, if I had used “Deaf Americans”, Reid wouldn’t know what I meant. I had to translate to democrat politically-correct language so he’d understand.
